Welcome Wave 1 Players!

Welcome to the It's Always Sunny in Brancalonia campaign!

Right now it is technically the It's Always Sunny in Brancalonia pre-campaign.

I'll be using this Blog as a place to provide general announcements, updates about the Game Forum, and (hopefully) a weekly status on what I've been working on and what I still need to do to get this campaign started.

Take a look around.

Tell me what you think and ask me about anything!

Don't have anything to say yet?

That's fine.

Just please leave a brief comment here so I know that I set this Blog up correctly and that you found it 👍🏼

For the bounty!

Just one thing, as your outline encouraged also adult themes, would there be a problem with the players identifying as adults? Just to keep an idea on how raunchy would be still appropriate.

I'm 46

The youngest Knaves (player characters) can be the age equivalent of a 16-year-old human.

Players can be any age allowed on Myth-Weavers.

If this campaign was a movie, it would be rated PG-13 across the board for adult themes (violence, language, substances, sex, etc.) although there are a few regions of Brancalonia that would be rated R for violence and horror.

If you think you might be crossing that line, try to be creative about how you describe what your Knave is saying, thinking, or doing 😏

@Wolfe208 Thank you for your interest!

However, this game is currently invite-only. I'm not sure when I will open invitations to all users, but I will make sure to alert you when I do.

This game's privacy is Read Only, which means all users can see the game content, but only invited members are allowed to post/comment. Somehow you were able to comment on this blog post, which should not have been possible 🙈 Admin is looking into the issue.

Another thanks for the invite here!  Gotta pull the book from my shelf and start coming up with character ideas . . .

One preliminary question: do you have any idea of an expected/desired posting rate?  Realtalk, if I'm utterly candid more than 2/3 a week is unlikely on my end and if you want a game with a faster pace I don't want to take up a seat at the table when there might be a better fit.*

*At this point I've been on the Weave long enough to know my own limits: the days when I can post 1/day or more frequently are unfortunately LONG gone.  I'd prefer to play of course, but if you've got a group who can manage a faster pace I do NOT want to be a post-anchor/tempo killer.

Great topic that I haven't thought about 😳 (and should probably add to the Game Expectations).

I feel like I wouldn't expect more than 2-3 posts a week per player. Maybe 1-2 if the player count exceeds 6.

Lastly, I may be making some minor changes to the setting that affect character creation, so please don't get locked into a specific character build. At most, come up with a character concept or two.

Invite accepted I'll start reading over what you've created.

I've got a few ideas for characters based on theme and builds but I'm going to see what will work with this setting. I heard mention the game is low magic so I'm wondering what that entails.

In this campaign, the player character level cap is 6. There are special abilities that can be gained once you reach level 6 and continue to complete jobs, but your class features stop at level 6. I will be looking into ways I can make post-level 6 play more interesting with regard to character advancement.
