Already on the tracker here, Eric is looking into it.

We’ll have to confirm word usage across things (as in where the words are used in every spot on the site to avoid possible surprises), but there should be no issue with the change as far as I’m aware. We just haven’t adjusted the Invision word usage since back in 2021 when the closed beta began and “Clubs” were renamed to “Games.”

Update: Firefox trying to render things that don't exist, code monkeys are on it.
-
@Eric will need to answer that one, because it would involve account migration territory.
-
@Neopopulas My apologies, I was reminded that the Table of Contents is a Community Supporter perk, it's not generally available.
-
It has not been moved to Baldr at this time, no. We will be starting to shift things like the calculator after Baldr's initial release, since they will still be available on OGMW for a while and several items may be getting rewritten for Baldr.
-
To the first part: Yes, post counts will be fixed! Right now every time we run a sync to migrate OGMW newer accounts over to Baldr, it resets all post counts to "# of posts on Baldr." We will be fixing post counts shortly after Baldr launches and OGMW registration is shut off, so that we don't have to worry about post counts being wiped anymore.
As to the game menu: One thing that can help if it's something like a lot of world building folders is using Pages (the replacement to the OGMW wiki) in the game instead. There is a Table of Contents button that GMs and Co-GMs have in the text editor when editing a page that will let them create an in-page navigation to designated sections. The guide section on that is still coming, but soon.
For things like Adventurer's League and Pathfinder Society, we now have a specific option to select in the game settings to designate it as a PF Society or AL game, instead of having all of those games shoved into a single Game.

@Roughtrade The sheet would need to be public in advance, and then just the numeric value.
@Phntm888 To ping you as well…
Right now Baldr is just referencing sheets in the OGMW database with the basic, proof of concept build from back when open beta started. We’re actually in the midst of working on the Baldr Sheets System (long dev meeting Tuesday night, and this is the last major bit of work left) to both move sheet databases over as well as to resolve all the headaches with the concept viewer. The new system will be a fully integrated setup.
Edit: I was slow it seems, forgot to hit submit yesterday afternoon and missed that there were additional posts. 😄

@Past Imperfect A link to both posts would be helpful so we can take a look! To get a post url, right click on the "posted X time ago" portion of the post.

I've noticed load times have always been a little hit and miss with images. Is this a test environment thing or a general server thing?
Right now load times are being twitchy due to some optimization issues with the privacy (posts and threads) code. It’s something Eric is working on to solve soon.

@aisforanagrams You can always check the MW Facebook, MW Twitter, or MW Discord Server (Server Link, opens Discord in new tab) to see what’s going on with site issues, for future reference. 🙂

Help! I don't know how to work this site, and the "guides" aren't much help. Is there a place on Mythweavers I can build a character and then just copy'n'paste it here?
Feedback lets us improve the guides, so if you could make a post in Site Feedback with what isn't covered well or explained we can look into it and get things expanded or better worded! 🙂

Answered on Baldr, but answering here for records and for others still getting familiar with the new site.
In game privacy settings, Closed means that to get access you must request it from the GM or be invited by the same, but the game is publicly visible.
The game privacy settings are all default behavior of Invision, with Archived added for when a GM finishes a game and wants it to be no longer visible in the game browser.

Something like a PDF of an individual thread that we could then attach to an OGMW archive post in our migrated games. Obviously individual GMs could set up something that suited them in their own games. But I would imagine exporting threads to PDF would, I imagine, probably be a fairly simple solution. We wouldn't be able to edit it, of course, but we could copypasta individual posts if we wanted.
Its a thought, anyway. 🤷♀️
That is one of the potentials, yep! Right now there’s just a short list of possible options though. We aren’t tackling that chaos until after Baldr’s initial launch, because the transition from OGMW is not going to be a rapid fire thing.

@Sorithar One thing to look at is Pages within a game forum. Those are more like a wiki long page (and work great for transcribing over items like house rules and such), and can have a Table of Contents made for navigation within the page.
That said, if there’s a thread that isn’t going to be getting use as anything but a reference once you do move things over, you don’t need to copy everything over from such a thread. Everything on OGMW will be preserved in some readable form and will always be user-accessible.
-
A note: We’re aware of slightly longer load times that have been occurring, and will be looking into it before we get to Baldr initial release.
-
To clarify @SpyderGlider, are you trying to drop BBcode formatting onto Baldr? Because if that is the case Baldr does not recognize BBcode (Invision actually depreciated BBcode support a couple months before we started open beta).
Otherwise you can format in Word, Google Doc, or other rich text editors and copy/paste over formatted posts that way. You may have to make some adjustments if you’re trying to make an exceptionally fancy post, and will have to copy/paste piecemeal if you’re using OOC, Spoiler, or Fieldset fields, but the editor recognizes bold, italic, underlined, etc text formatting when copied and pasted.
Bwatford’s Migration Guide for copying content over from OGMW to Baldr also works similarly when done using rich text editors. That said, you can always have a “game” created just for your brainstorming and planning stuff on Baldr. With the post editor on Baldr, any formatting done in the post is how it will appear when posted.

@PlotDevice It’s on the list still, just after the major dev targets that are being tackled currently.
-
Going off a small sampling, it seems to be something confined to you mate. We’re not going to have an entire discussion on this though folks.
-
@mykesfree Fallout was already in there, the rest have been added, thanks!
-
@mykesfree We’d add those by the system setting, like how Star Trek Adventures is currently in the list. If you can give me the full names of the other popular 2d20 system settings, I’ll get those added as well.

OOC
Block initiative being rolled to keep things simple. Everyone gets a round before we’re in combat, figure out what each of you is doing to prepare to receive your visitors. Questions in Discord for surroundings, I’ll update this OOC tag as required for theater of the mind.

Added Cyberpunk Red.

If you “hide from” specific people, and they log out, can they see it? Could be awkward there…
If the game is visible to the public, then yes it's possible to see such posts.
