Hails of arrows, the abyssal terror summoned by Canith, and the continued cannon fire of the ship smashes into the rotting kraken. Chunks of it split off the main body, falling beneath the waves while on the platforms Plaguebearers get festooned with arrows. Several of them turn their attention towards the ship, pulling swords as Annikah and Ellania take flight. Several of them remain chanting, pustules of rot forming on the kraken's main body.

As you all get settled in at the cafe, a car that looks more rust than metal pulls up. It's a wreck, and too conspicuously with how well it moves to a small parking lot. Someone has spent a lot of money to make it look like a piece of trash. It's door sticks until the occupant forces it open, a metahuman too covered in rags to tell if they are dwarf, human, or elf as they make their way over to the cafe. Getting closer, it becomes more apparent they are a male human, who quickly orders a meal in a slurred voice before heading to the corner of the cafe along with an order of crab. After a few moments a new message pops up on your comns Just arrived. Corner of the cafe. Come over when you are ready.

Looking through the astral, there's very little that seems out of the ordinary. Some vermin, none of them in the cafe itself, a few people along the docks most of whom seem to be here to sightsee, fish, or something else. There's many auras by the yacht itself, easily two dozen people currently on the ship. Meanwhile the cafe does actually have a menu in braile that they have for Nyx to read. Looking through the matrix, Lady Tonight is unable to find any hidden matrix icons in the proximity of the Cafe, and a search for the Ares Executive shows that he is Carl Bellweather, Head of Ares Southeastern Marketing department and recently appointed to the post. There will be a party hosted tonight for his arrival, very suit and tie affair involving other corp executives, mostly Ares ones.

Pup's examination of the physical and astral around doesn't reveal too much out of the ordinary. A few water spirits talk of the new boats, including a rather large one that recently docked. The pier you are on, within view but much less busy, doesn't reveal anything of the ordinary. The two employees at the little corner coffee your mysterious contact has invited you to enjoy a meal at seem normal, and are talking about a recent delivery when you listen in on them.

While you are waiting on the docks, a new message arrives from your employer. He'll be there in ten minutes, and will pay for dinner at a small corner cafe he gives the location on. He invites you to splurge, as it will be a busy night for all of you.
