There are several cries of "hey" and "watch it!" but no one hampers his movement. Not quite aware of what is going on, Nessia and Kelarith remain seated at the table, shaking their heads when Arwi jumps up runs away! OOC Kelarith and Nessia are seated and now see Arwi rush toward the back door yelling about Amira being in trouble! The huge, hairy Goblin steps around the wounded ox and strikes the poor draft beast again. Amira swipes her loaded crossbow from the seat of the wagon, turns, and pulls the trigger, letting an arrow fly at the Goblin to her right. The little green thug tries to dodge but the bolt catches him in the neck and he goes down in a gurgling spray! OOC Round 2 Finn - ?? Rindo - ?? Rindo may leap to the aid of those he is looking to for aid himself. Finn may take his action. An advancing Goblin steps up and swings his morning star, catching her in the side. The merchant curses loudly and winces in pain. The other Goblin on the far side of the wagon climbs up behind Amira, out of her line of sight. It steadies itself and lines up a shot on her back. The large, hairy Goblin near the oxen continues to chop wildly into the now dead beast of burden. Rindo moves up, noticing the nearest Goblin seems to be paying more attention to the horse than anything else. It steps up and wildly swings its morning star at the horse, but somehow loses its grip and the weapon slips in its hand. It curses and adjusts its grip. On the other side of the yard, Finn's attack goes wide and misses the little Goblin. The two Goblins nearest Finn both step in and swing their weapons at him, not doing a very good job at coordinating their attacks, but at least moving to try to surround him somewhat. Both attacks seem to be on target. OOC Still Round 2 Finn - needs to defend against two different attacks. The Goblin smiles wickedly as his attack finds its mark. Arwi, seeing the closed door ahead of him, kicks it open as he rushes out into the yard. Turning to his left, he sees a large, hairy Goblinoid with a bloody falchion standing over one of the oxen that iles bleeding in the dirt. Beyond, he sees Amira on top of the wagon with several Goblins surrounding her. He hears further combat off to the left, but cannot see that area of the yard due to the wall near him. Nessia follows Arwi and sees him crash through the door out into the yard. Kelarith, realizing that his companions have rushed off, jumps up and follows. The barkeep, seeing several new patrons running into his storeroom, starts hollering and waving his bar rag around his head! OOC Round 3 Finn - Committed Attack against Goblin 3. As he steps back, putting his right flank to the wall, he whips out a side kick at his original target. The Goblin desperately tries to defend but fails and Finn's foot hits him right in the chest. The Goblin flies back with a grunt, drops his flail and crashes into some stacked crates. The wind has clearly been knocked out of this Goblin's sails. Finn chuckles and asks, "Looking for a more satisfying crunch?" then holds his hand out toward the other goblin, beckoning with his middle and ring fingers. Then spreads his arms wide in a welcoming gesture, grinning, "Well? Come at me bro!" OOC GM edited results directly into this post. The Goblin is prone, stunned, and at 1/2 Move and Dodge. Rindo's foe, having retreated from the surprise attack, whips the spiky ball of his weapon at Rindo, threatening to score a hit! The two Goblins harassing Amira have climbed fully up into the wagon and are trying to pummel her with their weapons. The large, hairy Goblinoid sees Arwi and barks with glee before turning and running at him in a hunched over posture, its empty left hand hitting the ground like an extra foot for the bestial creature. OOC Finn and Rindo's opponents both scored hits. @Eldritch Butterfly and @terminaldragon need to roll defenses. Due to the Move and Attack, Rindo may not retreat and he may not parry unless he spends another FP for the Rapid Recovery option. After these defenses are processed, we'll move on to the next round and Arwi will be able to step in. Nessia will make it to the doorway at least in Round 4. Arwi has joined the fray and sees a large, hairy, bestial Goblinoid creature with a heavy, curved blade charging him from across the yard. Nessia nears the door leading outside, the sounds of combat much clearer to her now, surely, she thinks, someone else in the Dirty Dog Inn has heard it and will come to investigate... OOC Time for PC actions again. Finn, Rindo, and Arwi are all out in the yard with opponents engaged or near. Nessia is just inside the door and can move out and see what's going on. Kelarith will enter the yard at the beginning of Round 5. we'll see where the other new character fits in once her sheet is done. Round 4 Arwi - Step and Ready. Finn - Attack Goblin 4.
