  4. "Fable" the Beguiler Letting out a "hmph!" at the ineffectiveness of her bolt, Fable is nonetheless bolstered by the hurried battle-banter of her companions and her own self-confidence. She twirls her dagger in her hand, looking for an opening but trusting in the might of Brother Wilwick's divinity. Should the zombies remain standing, she will throw the weapon at the nearest of the shambling goblinoids. "Fable" Half-Elven Beguiler Out of Character - Actions Just in case the zombies are still standing after this, Fable's going to throw her dagger at the nearest -- preferably blue, he made her mad. Terrible at "catch". HOWEVER! I don't know if I can reasonably deal slashing damage from a throw, so... :((((
  5. "Fable" the Beguiler Fable, having shuffled to the part of the corridor opposite Crescenda, takes a moment to peek over the corner and level and fire her cross bow at the zombie before Wilwick. "Fable" Half-Elven Beguiler Out of Character - Actions Moved token. Precarious, but shooting at the blue zombie?. ADDENDUM: Forgot to add -4 penalty, total, to Attack Roll! Actual result is 16.
  6. Aldara Figments the Minor Trickster "Yeah..." Aldara furrows her brow at Jin's words. When she is mentioned, she nods at the sailor and Thri-Kreen in greeting. "He seemed an honest enough sort, but again, with something to hide. Maybe it wasn't malicehiding, but he did seem... odd? And, theatrical, and I know all about that." The first thing one might notice about Aldara, is that she might indeed know about theatrics: her attire, while no doubt that of a mage, is over-the-top, consisting of a colorful travelling robe and tunic... as well as much cheap jewellery. But, the spell book at her hip, and the wand attached to it, paint her as a mage nonetheless. She, herself, has hazel eyes, loose chestnut curls, and pale skin.   7. Zyira, realizing her spear is resting against a wall, quickly draws her hammer and swings it with reckless abandon at the nearest hobgoblin to think her barbuta helm is a suitable target... Out of Character - Actions Draw hammer, swing hammer. Zyira is +1 to attack and damage due to her 14 Strength.

It might be clear from her expression, and her reactions, that she has no reservations about working with them, but also feels a sort of natural unease at such... like a mongoose and a snake might, perhaps. After all is said and done, and she has taken stock of her companions and the topic of burning the undead comes up, she says, "I can help bring the bodies into the pile..."
  14. Aww, COOL, Aldara gets talked to by Ed Greenwood's self-insert guy! I think he said that Mirt was him, once. I sometimes go to book signings with Jeff Grubb -- he left space in my AD&D2E copy of the Forgotten Realms campaign book. I wonder who his self-insert guy is?
