When you are Spelljamming, you continue to sense your normal surroundings at the same time as sensing the ship. So, you see and hear him talking to you right there in front of you. Kind of like having dual monitors and playing a video game on one while watching a movie on the other simultaneously? I see how my writing in my last few posts is not clear in the slightest (KingGoblin did not even realize it was the instructor talking). The idea was: attune for tactical speed, answer question to Spelljam. The question I gave you and the note from earlier on H'catha got some crossfire, for (now) obvious reasons.
