"Careful, you lot. He's got that same kinda greasy magic nonsense Sylvania 'ad on er. Watch yerselves an yer tricks." Murdain called out. ~"'Slike you manifest one thin' an other comes out. Magic dont listen to what you tell it to do."~ He clarified for Hjalmyr, keeping an eye on the brute.

Niko screams as Indominus teleports away. The terrain was oppressively dense so she steps out of her boots and screams loudly. That scream, so full of rage and frustration, turns into a howl as her body begins to pop and bend, her face stretching out into a muzzle. The howl carries an extra power with it, filling those on the ground with her with her hunting rage.

 

OOC: Wolfing out and casting Bless on @TheGospel and @Knave and myself.

“Um… I’ll just see myself out then.” Hjallmyr misty steps behind Aaliyah, hoping she will protect him from the angry werewolf. He shoots a firebolt at Indominus through his awakened spellbook in order to stop any regeneration.

Legendary action. Indominus is going to shout loudly and wild power will flare out from him. "Come and get me mages. I love the taste of Luna's kids.

 

All magical buff or debuffs at first level in a 60 foot radius end their durations instantly and no spell 1st level or lower can be cast by anyone in that radius for 1 turn.

The climb looks unappealing, especially after having his arm torn up. And sheathing the swords doesn't seem like a great idea... hopefully the rest will find a way to come down. Kirit feels Niko's power flow through him, and just as quickly, it is gone, blasted away by the other werewolf. Maybe all the magic folks would cancel each other out and they can all just have a traditional brawl. A man can dream.

Kirit's swords are working away, his mind a little elsewhere. These folks have bite, but they aren't the main course.

I'll move through the nearest enemies as and when they die, aiming to end up beside Niko. I'm not attacking the dragonborn.

"Haha, I been eatin' mages since before you was born kid. I am Indominus Clanbreaker!" A flash of light from Barkvin temporarily dazzles him but he shoulder checks Murdain recklessly, shoving him back off the cliff. Down below, Kirit and Aaliyah kill two of the wolves. Kirit, you assess these wolves and they are considerably stronger than the ones you fought at the library. Those had changed at will also but hadn't had much raw power to them. These, while they do still die, seem more akin to the creatures of folklore.

 

"Golgo, come... be well them for me," the dragonborn says suddenly, producing a vial of blood and drawing a circle around himself in the grass. A rift opens up in the air and a large, red furred ape like monster falls onto the battlefield.

 

OOC: Indominus will attack Murdain twice, Barkvin's flare saves him from one of them but the second hits him for 13 and then he takes 10 falling damage. The wolves all miss. The dragonborn summons a demon.

Seeing the melee go south quickly, the cleric gets worried. He shifts slightly closer to Murdain. Is there any hope against this brute? He calls out. "Argh, Sola save us all!" He feels his new arm pulse with energy from inside the black sleeve. Raising it up, three bolts of burning sunlight streak out of the arm up at the half goliath slamming into him. Sola's flaming sword swings down on him but misses.

 

Mechanics *

MOVE: Move south 10 ft

ACTION: Cast Scorching Ray at Indominous 18 to hit (19 if has advantage) for 5 fire damage/ 19 to hit for 6 fire damage/ 22 to this for 8 fire damage.

BONUS ACTION: Spiritual Weapon to attack Indominous. 13 to hit for 9 force damage.

 

REACTION: Whoever Indominous attacks, he will use Warding Flare to give him disadvantage on his first attack. (Since the range is only 30ft this would only cover himself and Murdain

CONCENTRATION: none

 

OOC: If you need to take a turn for Barkvin over the weekend, the plan is sacred flame for action and spiritual weapon for bonus action with warding flare for his reaction. Indominous is his first target then the dragonborn, then other enemies.

Free 1 level bump whenever plus benefits of a long rest. Need to add arm stats

"More demons. Is this one a friend? Hey demon, do you know the Harvester of Souls?" She brandishes the staff at him. "No? Urm... urgh... BLEH" Suddenly her mouth opens and a torrent of acid gushes out of it.

 

OOC: Upcasting Tasha's brew to 2nd level. I drew a line that hits Indominus but I'm not sure if the cliff causes a problem. If she angles it upwards... DC 16 save or takee 4d6 acid damage at the start of his turns.

"Get... back... here..." Niko howls as she leaps towards Indominus, charging into the cliff face only to vanish into a shadow. She reappears above, falling towards the goliath with her blade in the air. "I said you're mine!" The sword begins glowing with a divine light that she doesn't even notice and the blade strikes home, the chill of the grave driving into the wound, freezing the blood into sharp crystals just before a searing wave of light erupts from the blade.

 

OOC: I am advancing to level 7 and using divine smite. 15 radiant damage, 12 cold damage and 28 slashing damage. If my second attack hits, it is 17 slashing and 4 cold. Oh, that was my misty step to close the distance.

"Thats one hell of a bite," the large man compliments, tucking one of his intestines back under the skin and tightening his belt around it. As he tightens it you glimpse briefly an amulet with an eye on it.

 

"Let daddy show you how to make thunder." He backhands you across the face so hard your teeth loosen and the he tries to kick you but your armor takes the worst of it. "Pathetic ass dog wearing armor, using a sword. This is why the father is culling the herd."

"Halfling told a different story. Guess your eyes as shit as yer brain." Murdain managed, before being shoved off the cliff. The fall hurt, but what did it matter? Some small group of werewolves were trying to get away - he sincerely hoped Barkvin would end their misery, but doubted he would. For a moment, a part of him considered cleaning up the rest of them with a blast of winter... Inefficient. Pointless. Were you paid for their deaths? Asked the calm voice in his mind. You were not. Look around. Are you of use in this situation? Again, you know you are not. If the 'you' right now is not useful... You should become someone else. A string of gestures and sounds unfurled in Murdain's mind like a musical score, and he traced it without thinking, with his dagger. He felt his shape shudder as his bones began to break and repair, reconstructing into something else. Use everything. Flesh distorted, pulled aside, then together, as muscled knitted themselves out of seemingly empty air. Then game the skin, the fur, and the fangs.

A low growl resounded on the battlefield, followed by a loud, thumping sound like an enormous drum and a roar that sent smaller rocks flying, a cloud of dust rising where Murdain had fallen. A gigantic fist was the first to emerge, impacting the cliffside with the force of a battering ram followed the the impact of the rest of the body as it leapt onto the cliff, a monstrously large ape staring at the leader of the werewolves with blue eyes filled with rage, fangs bared.

Kirit finds himself up against the dragonborn as he summons an actual godsdamn demon. That sort of thing tends to attract the attention.

Drawing on Praetorian's magic, Kirit plants his feet and goes to work with the rapier.

Hjallmyr squeezes past Aaliyah to get a better view on the werewolves that are going around the hill. "Excuse me, I just need to get a little closer so I can... ah, there they are." He points a finger, firing off another fireball at the pack of minions.

 

(OOC: On roll20 I can get the four werewolves with a red circle on them as well as the southern most one with the slow icon. 32 damage, DC 16 dex save for half.)
