Indominus is bloodied. As a reaction to being bloodied, he will...

 

Indominus had just backhanded Niko and berated her for being a weak wolf. Then he says, "let me show you what an alpha looks like," and howls as his body begins to bend and warp.

 

He drops onto all fours and gains considerable size. Most of the wolves you've encountered stand upright usually. They have claws and sharp teeth and generally resemble a Wolfman.

 

Indominus has tusks to make any orc proud. His ears are long and slender but he maintains his normal hands, foregoing claws. His fur is charcoal black and there is a clean silver streak of longer fur down his back along with a row of bony protrusions. Hes fully quadrapedal now.

 

Wild magic flares around him and settles into a new alignment. The ground around him reacts, crumbling into a slippery gravel. Then he runs Niko over again, first punching her in the gut and then bashing her again in the face. Another brilliant flash of light had flared up between them but the wild attacks were undaunted.

 

I need everyone who can see him, which is everyone, to make a DC 18 Wisdom save or be frightened. The terrain around him is difficult for 15 feet. Niko takes.. 34 bludgeoning damage. Barkvin uses another warding flare charge but it didn't quite help.

Kirit unleashes hell on the dragonborn from behind but his ambush doesn't prove lethal. With a scowl of disapproval, the dragonborn turns turns him but glances towards Aaliyah before acting. He fiddles with something in his belt and says, "Bah.. Cliora, kill them all or die in your effort. This... effort is moot for now." And then he will teleport straight up thirty feet and start flying away.

 

Aaliyah, I need a DC 20 Wisdom save or... well, you know.

Hjallmyr rolls to resist fear. He fails and uses his inspiration to reroll. Still fails. He uses a lucky die and succeeds.

Aaliyah drops the staff as soon as her birth name is spoken and just stares off into space while he gives her her instructions. Her hand begins shaking as she tries to resist the tug on her psyche but it was no use. This is what she was. Dolls don't get to choose what games they play. She slowly turns towards Ved, energy welling up in her hand, tears in her eyes.

 

And then, "No." The staff is back in her hands and the energy fades away. She inhales sharply and then releases a cone off frigid air, so cold it chills the blood and causes the air to thicken into ice in it's area.

 

 

OOC: I... am going to ding level 7 rather than do this. She's going to cast Rime's Binding Ice. DC 18 Con save or his speed becomes 0. Then I want to quicken an Eldritch Blast!

The giant ape roars in pure rage as the werewolf transforms, but 'fight or flight' seems to have kicked in not quite the order Indominus hoped for, as two fists come crashing down over the top of Nikoletta's head, and into her opponent.

The dragonborn looks quite surprised as ice crystals bind his wings and he comes crashing to the ground, practically on top of you. Also you didn't roll your blasts.

Everything was changing so fast. Murdain into a giant ape, the half orc/half goliath into a half wolf/half boar? There were strange flashes of flame and light from the other side of the rock and the dragonborn flew up then came crashing down. Maybe things were going well. The fear in his heart was steadied by the bravery of his allies. "Argh, great goddess bring this beast down to the dark pits." He says in a word of prayer. The flame from the sky looks weak against this hulking beast and the flaming sword swings wildly.

BONUS ACTION: Spiritual Weapon to attack Indominous. 11 to hit for 11 force damage.

Hjallmyr lets out a yelp that would embarrass his ancestors on both sides of his family tree as the Dragonborn crashes down right next to him. He’s so startled, he barely notices the terrifying new form of Indominus on the hill. Aaliyah also had a look in her eye for a moment that didn’t leave him wanting to take cover behind her anymore. He summoned a flaming sphere next to Indominus, rammed him with it, then rode the current of wild magic around him to the top of the nearby ridge. He made a mental note to ask Aaliyah about what had happened to her later, when she was less murderous looking.

(OOC: Flaming sphere deals 5 damage to Indominus. DC 16 dexterity save for half.)

More than most, Kirit is able to spot the small movements and tells that warn of a battle about to turn. He hears the command to Aaliyah, sees the struggle on her face as she raises her hand to him and breathes an immediate sigh of relief as she turns her power on the dragonborn instead.

No point trying to run away from her - his joints are stiff with the metallic magic of Praetorian's defence, so Kirit stomps over to the girl instead, closing with their fallen foe.

"Nice shot there. Cliora - forget what he said. Help your friends."

He lunges into the frosty form.

Niko screams, slashing at him wildly with her large sword. She loses herself in the moment, letting her feral side takeover. Normally, she shows as much control over her beastial form as her normal one but she had allowed herself to submit to her instincts. Her rage. While she screams, no words are formed. It's just snarling and barking.

 

 

 

OOC: Niko attacks twice. I DON'T have advantage actually so I think she only hits once. If he attacks, I'll bloodcurse him and he'll take 1d6 penalty to every attack he makes!

Indominus, feral as he may be, can sense when the numbers are turning against him. His pack was broken and his wizard was dead. So he shoved Niko and backs away, then turns and begins making these bounding strides. He'll leap down from the hill, taking a beating as he does so but managing to gain distance.

 

He is going to move and then dash.

 

Meanwhile, Ved has removed the head from the downed dragonborn. The other werewolves have begun trying to flee but the massive overgrowth on the terrain makes it slow going.

As the hulking beast runs off, so does Barkvin's good sense and he starts after the creature. "Aye, stop ye fiend." The flaming sword follows him and a flash of holy sunlight light burns the creatures eyes

The frozen reptilian head rolls across the grass, as the wolf tries to make good his escape. Chasing the creature doesn't seem like a smart move, so Kirit sheathes the swords and draws his crossbow, screaming insults after the retreating figure.

"Runt! Come and eat me you little b*itch!"
