Attached is the full text dump of this thread from OGMW. I will also copy over the last couple pages of posts here for quick reference.

As Aosa steps back out of the door, leaving Heshiman and Hassk fighting, she quicks rushes to the far side of the tunnel. She hears Heshiman yell for her as she leaves, fear and concern evident in his voice. She had just settled into a hiding spot when she saw one of the Hassk stick their head out of the door, perhaps looking for her.

Nearly simultaneously a sledge vehicle came up the tunnel, it's engines keeping it hovering mere inches above the stone floor. It's age and heavy use was obvious, although the hum of the engine showed that someone competent was maintaining it. Three mole people sat together on the front bench, and an apparently deactivated droid sat dark and lifeless on the cargo bed. A couple of large baskets, nearly half the size of one of the mole people, sat on the cargo bed near the droid. They appeared to be stuffed with some kind of dark fungi or plant material.

The vehicle came to a stop just past the secret door, and Aosa could see the door close a few seconds too late. The mole people seemed to be discussing amongst themselves in a language that Aosa does not understand, but the gestures towards the door seem to give a strong indication of what their topic was. They have given no indication that they have noticed Aosa in her hiding spot, but at least one of them is opening what appears to be a storage locker behind the bench seat.

Ghost and Sophic, still crouched near the crack in the roof of the tunnel, heard the pitch of the engine shift into an obvious idle. It still had not come far enough up the tunnel to be in their line of sight, which meant that they almost certainly had stopped around where the others were hidden. Listening carefully, made slightly difficult by the sound of whistling wind through the canyon, the two women think they can hear something akin to the soft sound of mole speech.

Sophic scowls, irritated beyond measure that she is separated from Aosa and the others when they could easily be in danger. Holstering her heavy blaster, she quietly lowers the rope into the tunnel. If nothing else, were the occupants of the vehicle to see it, it would give them something else to think about. If there's no indication that they saw it, well she'd give them a lot more to think about than a rope.

"Just keep collecting your mushrooms. Don't be hero. Keep moving" . Aosa thinks to herself as she aims her rifle at the mole people. She waits and watches to see what the mole people are going to do.

Two of the mole people exited the vehicle while the third opened a storage locker. It pulls two spears, roughly twice as long as the mole men using them. It looked like the spears had flat, broad stone points on one end and a shovel like blade on the other, also made of stone. Finally it pulled an odd looking, very blocky gun from the locker.

The conversation between the mole people was still unintelligible, but Aosa was certain that they were planning to investigate or potentially assault her companions still in the secret room. The gun was not one that she knew immediately, but the sizing on it made her think that it was built for a small race, but looked far more advanced than any other tools that she had seen the mole people use before. The way it was barreled and chambered made it obvious to the soldier that it wasn't a blaster or other gas projectile weapon. It was probably some kind of energy weapon, which in her experience meant that it was either a high-lethality, very narrowly focused weapon, or something closer to some kind of explosive launcher. The mole person handling it was doing so with a bit of obvious effort, which made Aosa sure that it was a rather heavy weapon as well.

Up above and down the tunnel a bit, Sophic drops down a rope. They can tell the vehicle has not resumed it's motion, and based on the volume of mole person talking they can hear, it is a reasonable guess that the vehicle has stopped by the secret door.

That gun looked like trouble and Aosa had solution for that type of danger. Taking aim at the moleman with the gun, Aosa fires at him. As the shot richotes off the vehicle, she screams "THEY HAVE SEEN YOU. DEFEND YOURSELVES" at the door.

Sophic slithers down the rope, draws her heavy blaster pistol and runs in the direction of gunfire, all the while looking for a hollow, indentation, spur in the tunnel wall she can use to prevent a vehicle from running her over.. if it's cover from weapon's fire all the better.

Ghost knows that the vehicle stopping is not a good sign, but Aosa's shouting and the sound of blaster fire seal the deal. While Sophic hurries down to help their comrades, Ghost holds onto the rope to help Sophic as she's going down. The last thing they need is for the woman to hurt herself in the middle of their escape attempt.

Aosa's distracting shot and yell causes all of the mole people to momentarily flinch in response, but with a responding cry the mole person on the vehicle brought the strange rifle up to it's shoulder and  A truly earth shaking boom echoed through the tunnel and Aosa saw a shimmering wave of flexing energy fields cascade towards her. The wall behind her exploded in a shower of stone shards, dust and chunks.

The other two mole people slapped their hands over their ears, nearly dropping their spears, but advanced on the secret door nonetheless. Aosa had difficulty hearing anything from the secret room with the booming echoes within the tunnel.

Sophic started to rappel down the rope, but Ghost caught her hands and adjusted her grip and looping to allow an easier and safer descent. Thanks to this adjustment Sophic was only slightly
1 point of damage to Sophic for the failed climb
rope burned when the surprise of the thunderous boom of the mole person's gun caused her grip to slip. Her feet hit the tunnel floor, and she quickly shook herself loose of the rope. The echoes of whatever caused that unbelievable booming still seeming to pulse up and down the tunnel. Distantly down the tunnel split that the vehicle had come from, everyone could here the faint but unmistakable roar of the acid lizard.

Aosa shudders as pieces of the wall and dust. Her blood runs cold as the roar of the giant lizard echoes through the cavern.

Outrunning the gun wasn't possible. Maybe she can convince the gunner to do something else. Aosa takes aim and fires again

Sophic, wincing at the injury to her hands, runs without hesitation down the tunnel in the direction of danger, in the direction of the gunfire. She moves with the kind of ironclad purpose and steely determination that might frighten some. It occurs to her that the vehicle, whatever it was, would perhaps serve as an appetizer for the giant worm, delaying it before it decides to move onto meatier fare. She takes the sound of Aosa continuing to fire after a powerful blast as a good sign. Hopefully the enemy were even worse of a shot than she was.

Ghost isn't sure which sound is worse: the heavy weapon or the even heavier acid lizard stirring from its slumber. Briefly, she considers climbing down the rope herself, but decides against it. The others (especially Heshiman) might need help climbing up the rope. With the acid lizard's arrival a distinct possibility, time is becoming a precious commodity. Escape would be the only real victory.

Aosa shot caught the mole gunner high in the shoulder and the creature squealed like an overheated tea kettle. It pulled a small lever of the side of the rifle,  at Aosa again. Another thunderous boom shook the tunnel as Sophic comes pelting around the slow bend of the tunnel. Another shower of stone shards rains down around Aosa's shoulders. Apparently even though it is sized for smaller users, the weapon packs quite a kick that makes aiming very difficult, likely to Aosa's benefit.

The two spearmen open the secret door and immediately stab at something inside. Unfortunately her movements has put the vehicle between herself and the door, so she can't see who is being attacked.

Sophic stops at the bend in the tunnel, leans around it to open fire on the mole with the big gun. Her first shot is far from accurate. Still, she thinks.. it's two against one now.

The sounds of continued weapons fire are encouraging in that Ghost's newfound companions are still alive. Still, she is sure that the racket is rousing the ire of the resident giant reptile. Straining her hearing past the sounds of battle, Ghost tries to listen for signs of the creature.

Aosa's second shot grazed along the mole gunner's nose, leaving a long creased scar. His screamed response and Sophic's missed shot are both lost to the thunderous boom as he . Yet again the shot goes wide, shattering stone and rattling a rain of stone dust from the ceiling. Echoes of the thunderous booms have rendered everyone in the immediate area nearly deaf, and prevent Ghost from being able to hear any more of the distant lizard roars.

So much noise... Ghost can only take comfort in the knowledge that the others must still be fighting. In such confined fighting spaces, it is amazing that the mole-people can fire such powerful weaponry and still manage to miss so much.

Aosa's round catches the mole gunner in the shoulder, staggering it slightly. It screams something in it's alien tongue towards the secret door as it vaulted into the front bench of the vehicle. It dropped it's weapon on the bench next to it as it slammed the accelerator and the vehicle surged forward, directly towards Sophic standing at the bend of the tunnel. As Sophic bounced off of the vehicles scarred plating, it's repulsorlift engine roaring, it tears off down the tunnel, even bypassing the crack with
I would think you could get a shot off at the driver/gunner if you want as this happens
Ghost watching from above.

The secret door closes, preventing any view of the ongoing fight inside.

Aosa briefly watches the hover sled disappear out of sight. "About time.." she mutters.

Rushing to the secret door, she keeps one hand on her rifle and uses the other to open. As soon as it is unlatch, she regrips the rifle and nudges the door open with her foot. She readies herself for whatever is happening on the other side.

Sophic bounces off the wall. While she had anticipated the danger and taken every precaution to avoid it, this had not been enough. She holds her side, feeling ribs move in a way that was far from natural. Annoyed beyond measure at this turn of events, she bares her teeth and all but growls. Unaware of the drama unfolding in the off tunnel chamber, she moves to back up Aosa. "What's going on?", she asks, her blaster pistol in her hand.

Ghost watches in surprise as the vehicle goes hurtling past, although she sadly has no blaster or firearm to take a parting shot at the fleeing mole-person. With the noise now reduced, Ghost decides that it's past time that she checked on the others. Even if the acid lizard is approaching, the vehicle will likely be an obstacle that will buy them some time. She starts climbing down, a bit disquieted by the new quiet.

Ghost dropped down the rope as the vehicle continued to tear down the tunnel, quickly vanishing around the next gentle bend as it continues to hurtle away at top speed. As she descends she sees Sophic picking herself up off the ground, obviously favoring one side, and rush around the bend of the tunnel towards the wall where the secret door was.

Sophic steps up next to Aosa, looking into the secret room. Blood of at least two hues was streaked around the room. Heshiman crouched defensively in the corner to the left, one bleeding arm held close to his body and one of the improvised knives held in a reversed grip in his other hand, blue Hassk blood dripping from a tusk. One of the Hassk lay on the floor, several slashed and pierced wounds and a tusk-sized hole in it's abdomen all oozing faint blue blood. If it wasn't dead, it likely would be soon. The other Hassk was far less wounded and actively fighting the two mole spearmen. Neither of the mole people appeared to be wounded and have moved to put their backs to the stairway tunnel at the back of the room and their eyes cut to Aosa's appearance as the door opens again. This does not prevent them from stabbing at the remaining Hassk, although neither are able to land a hit.

Heshiman calls out, "Aosa, praise Maridun!"

Faintly echoing through the tunnels from a great distance, the great acid lizard roars.

Sophic, seeing the two molemen in the chamber, doesn't bother to ponder the situation. She takes a shot at one of the molemen with her blaster. Her inability to hit a barn door, while standing next to it continues..

First Aosa calmly fires a rifle slug at one of the mole people before unleashing her anger.

"E Chu Ta .." Aosa curses in her finest Huttese. Then directing her rage at Heshiman and the remaining Hassk. I cannot step out of the room for five minutes without everyone killing each other. Five drukking minutes. Is that too much too ask?

The mole man that Aosa shoots in the shoulder grunts and dice.pnghurls its spear (1) back at her while the other
dice.pngstabs at the remaining Hassk (0) before turning and running down the tunnel and the stairs. The
dice.pngHassk snaps at one of them (1) as it retreats and Heshiman glares at Aosa while saying, "They jumped me! I tried talking them down."

Seeing Sophic favor one leg is already bad enough, but the lizard's roar reminds Ghost that the mole-men are not even their greatest threat. Ghost rushes down the corridor after Sophic to the secret room.

She only arrives to see the absolute mess of a brawl in the secret room. In the immediate rush, Ghost misses the Hassk blood on Heshiman's tusks and instead rushes the remaining mole-man with a swing of her gaffi stick.

The spear grazes Aosa. She doesn't notice the injury due to the adrenaline flowing through her body. Once again she, calmly aims and fires a rifle slug. However, this time she target the standing Hassk.

Ghost charges into the room and a few paces down the short corridor, her gaffi stick clattering against the stone walls as the mole men fled before her. The Hassk, yellowish mole blood still dripping from it's fangs, turned back towards Aosa and Heshiman as it caught Aosa's slug in it's chest. The shot staggered the blue haired figured and it screamed in pain and rage, the howl echoing oddly in the small room. Wild with rage the Hassk threw itself towards the two women still standing in the doorway, it's bloody jaws dice.pngsnapping (1,3) at Aosa. The bloody fangs tear a small gash on her arm.

Heshiman steps in and dice.pngslashes (0,3) at the Hassk, but his moves were somewhat hampered by the way he is hold his wounded arm.

After a disappointing swing, Ghost's ears are assailed by the sound of the Hassk's rage. Seeing the Hassk attack Aosa sends Ghost into a rage of her own and she aims her swing at the back of the offending alien's head.

The flurry of rounds drops the Hassk before it can manage much more than an aggressive hiss. Ghost can bring a permanent end to it's threat if she completes her swing. Heshiman looks at the Tusken and gasps, "Do it."

"Hold!", barks Sophic, having fired the shot that finally put the Hrassk down. "What in perdition is going on here?", she shouts, looking, and indeed sounding, like a pot stirred concoction of annoyed, confused and exasperated. "We're not judge, jury and thrice damned executioners." she all but growls, clearly riled. She points at Heshiman, noticeably with the hand that has a heavy blaster pistol in it, perhaps intending to show the strength of her resolve, which put another way can be phrased as 'don't mess with me'. Still looked pissed off over the incident in the room. Aosa addresses Ghost and Sophic "While you were gone, I was watching the corridor. During that short time a fight broke out. I opened the door to find a knife fight between Heshiman and our two furry friends"

"I do not know what happened to cause the fight but we cannot take them along. She looks at the two unconscious Hassks. That's too much weight to carry, and now they will try to kill us when given a chance. Killing them is the safer option, but we can leave them if that is too much blood for everyone.

Heshiman draws himself up, his impressive height his only means of countering Sophic's threat, and said, "As soon as you left they started indicating they were going to go down the stairs or follow you out. I tried to get them to calm down and relax, but they attacked me! I was barely able to fend them off until the door opened more and those moles came in. Then it was just chaos until you all came back in. Aosa is right, they cannot be trusted. If you don't want to kill them, leave them for the moles. Either way I don't want to be here." He then begins to move for the door, his eyes locked on Sophic to see if she would shoot him or move out of the way.

Sophic's urgent shout stays Ghost's hand. She is not opposed to killing a helpless enemy, necessarily, but not even Aosa knows what transpired in the room. Execution without assurance of guilt is a crime in its own right. That being said, Aosa does have a point about the weight being a problem. If they leave the Hassk here, that is as good as a death sentence. Even if the mole-people do not offer the outsiders up as sacrifices to their reptilian god, they will likely take out some measure of vengeance for the deaths of their kin.

Ghost kneels down to inspect the Hassk that fell first, very conscious of his stab wounds but wondering if he has already succumbed.

Sophic listens impassively as various viewpoints are communicated. Unsurprisingly, Aosa's pragmatism carried more weight with her than did Heshiman's description of the turn of events. This pragmatism included the calculation that she herself was badly wounded. As to Heshiman, given what she knew of the Hraask, his tale seemed plausible. In any case, she'd burnished her sharing caring credentials with her call to hold. Killing out of hand without knowledge just went against who she was, but being the moral counterweight didn't. Still she couldn't finish a downed enemy, or allow any other to do so.

"Let's go.", she murmurs decisively, not being one to prevaricate.

OOC: Baldr isn't allowing me to change red to black, so the first paragraph is what it is.

Aosa was ready to leave this room - leave this cave. The entire place had been one big bloody mess. "Yeah, let's get out of here" she replies to Sophic as she heads out the door and heads down the corridor after Heshiman.

Even though she'd always known it would come to this, the Hraask killing everyone, or everyone killing the Hrassk, that did nothing to dull the sharp and bitter taste of all this. What the hell were you thinking?, she asks herself. The only channel to survival was following Ghost, the Tusken Raider, out of the desert. What was your plan,... fight the mole folk all by yourselves with teeth and claws, procure water from the air, food with prayers, wander the wastes?, she asks herself. It was to her mind, insane, but the Hraask, since the very beginning, had seemed mentally off kilter.

She lets the shove go, exchanges a perplexed and annoyed glance with Aosa, then heads to the rope. She hoped she'd have enough time to mend up. The grav car in the tunnel had nicked her good.

If one Hassk is dead, then bringing the other would be suicide. Blood would call for blood, regardless of whether this death was self-inflicted or not. A gesture of prayer, one symbolizing the assimilation of their water back to Tatooine, would have to suffice. Ghost joins Sophic in returning to the rope.

"I will go up first to help Heshiman. We will wait for you. I will not leave any more behind today."

Edit: Ghost will burn a Force Point to guarantee the Aid Another for Heshiman's Climb check.

Aosa gives Sophic quick head nod in acknowledgement of concerns before continuing to the ropes.

At the ropes, "You can go after Heshiman. I will cover the rear from the shadows". she whispers to Sophic. She wasn't looking forward to climb, so she didn't mind delaying it by few moments.

Taking cover, she watches the approaches while waiting for everyone else to climb.

Soft murmurings of mole speech can be heard faintly echoing up the stairs and along the short corridor as the group leaves the secret room and it's gory cauliflower blue contents behind. Ghost quickly ascends the rope with her climbing gear and braces the line, while Sophic gets in position to help steady the bottom of it. Heshiman clambers up the rope as best he can with an injured arm.
