  1. You wind your way through the southern passage which eventually opens up into another chamber. The undulating floors of this natural cave system slope down gently here. A vandalized wall fountain, sculpted in high relief to the likeness of Apollo's face, juts from the eastern wall. No water pours from the fountain's mouth, but a thin film of liquid seeps from its left eye.
  2. It’s once per day. Must not have copied it all over. Ring of Invisibility: This ring is but a simple gold band. When placed on the finger, it functions as per the invisibility spell at CA 10 capacity. It can be used once per day. So it lasts 20 hours.
  3. While Wu tends to Dathan's wounds, Iodás strips off his armour, lights a torch off of the druid's already burning one, then he and invisible Zalven wind their way through the tight tunnel. The tunnels opens into a wide room, which becomes more obvious how big when they step out. Bones, rags, and bits of fur cover the floor of this warm, lumpy cave with five-foot ceiling. Both men have to duck to make their way through. Another two small passages lead out. One about twenty feet to the left of the opening they stand in. Another about fifteen feet to the right. Amongst the debris on the floor, more skittering centipedes can be seen but Iodás just crushes them under a heavy boot. I figured this could occur while Wu and Luciana tend to Dathan. There is a small westward passage and another that goes south. Both are also tight squeezes.
  4. It's not one of the druid abilities. Shaman can do it safely with a 9 in 12 chance, so I suppose a druid might be able to attempt with a 2 in 6 chance. Do you still want to try?

  6. Dathan wounds close under the paladin's ministrations, but suddenly you see a redness engulf the druids wounds. Dathan feels an intense burning sensation as the poison takes its effect, causing blisters and boils around the bite marks (19 points of damage) causing Dathan to begin to faint with delirium. The other quick thinking healer, Wu, bends over the druid and pulls out his medicine bag. With a miniature mortar and pestle, he tosses in some herbs and bug parts including from some of the dead centipedes and begins to mix up a possible antidote. Wu massages the muscles around the wound, inserts a needle to drain some of the inflammatory poison, and uses a small spatula to push some of the poultice into the wound, completely negating the damage. Dathan comes out of the delirium after one turn and while still feeling a lingering burning sensation, it is no worse than a sun burn. I'm pretty sure it did this "wrong" by RAW but the shaman ability doesn't say it cannot treat hit point damage from poison, so for "Rule of Fun" lets go with this and I believe Dathan is at full hit points still.
  7. I think I’m going to roll saves sometime s in the interest of keeping the game moving and being cognizant of peoples post rate since it is possible to just “post and forget” sometimes.
  8. Only if it is from a disease. also just a bit Mets but you’d know this right away, the poison does extra damage but nothing debilitating.
  9. Okay it's edited. Sorry but you got hit twice and must save vs death (poison) twice. I totally randomized who get hit with which roll. Good news is they are all dead (or are they?) and you can continue your exploration
  10. I still need to edit that last post in the game thread. I was tired and distracted when putting it together.
  11. Wu smiles and begins collecting the bodies of the centipedes, the then he stops and thinks for a second, then pours some spices and herbs onto the the already flaming bodies. "Good idea Dathsn. These will crisp up nicely and be ready and delicious in no time.!"
  12. ------------------------------------------------------ Round Two --------------------------------------------------------- Zalven, quick with his spell appears out of thin air and sprays off a blast of coloured energy, catching two of the little critters. One of them stops in its tracks. The other though shakes its head and keeps moving forward biting Dathan for 2 hps of damage only to have its head lopped off by Luciana's sword. Her swing continues through another centipede, splitting it in half, its body writhing in spasms of reflexive muscle activity. Iodás and Dianora both attempt to slash and smash at them, but are just too slow and it bites Dathan for another 2 hps of damage. The druid swipes his torches and engulfs three of them in flames. Their bodies roast on the floor Dathan feels a burning sensation at his bite wounds and must make two saves vs death (poison). -----------------------------------------------------End of Encounter ---------------------------------------------------- For low HD critters like this, I just apply damage as a group, ie Lucy's 8 points of damage took out the two that had 4 hit points. Continuing?
  13. It might knock out 1d6 of them. eek hope you are feeling better.
  14. ------------------------------------------------------ Round One --------------------------------------------------------- You hear the clicking of hundreds of centipede legs as they pour from the tunnel and scurry over and around the illusionist. He feels their pinchers tickle through his robes as they pass by to descend on the party. Quick thinking Dathan tries to swing his torch at the swarm but misses. Not so for Dianora, she crushes one completely with her morningstar, spattering its ichor about. The centipedes are now amongst the party, pincers ready for the pinch. -----------------------------------------------------End of Round One ---------------------------------------------------- Declare round two actions. I decided they needed the entire round to move into the group giving the rest of you time to post an attack before they go nuts.
