Pass, at least for the price they wanted. A few years before I missed out on a Mach I. Saw it early one morning, did some research when I got to work, and it was gone by the time I got back. These days I feel guilty turning the key on anything larger than a go-cart. 90% of my driving can be done by a vehicle 1/10 the size of what I'd have to put back on the road. After spending the last few years asking myself "Is this trip really necessary?", I just want to be as small as possible. It's a pathetic situation, which working from home resolves for an environmentally significant portion of the workforce. We did invest heavily on an inter-urban bike trail system that bypassed most of the heavy traffic entirely. Pretty neat, and since it got bikes OFF of the commuter routes, drivers were happy. And since the bike routes were often shorter than the drive distance, bikes were happy. Unfortunately it's only rideable for half the year. But still, every bit helps.
