Peff Posted January 19, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 19, 2023 Would it be possible to add the Pathfinder 2e Action "diamonds" and reaction arrow as emojis? I think it would be a nice add for the ruleset and detailing your turns. I'm happy to help create/source references for it, if needed! Also understood that emojis are likely very low on the priority list, just wanted to throw it out there if it hadn't been asked.
Eric Posted January 20, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 20, 2023 This is pretty straightforward to do, provided I have the source images. They'll need to be 72px square, and png is preferred.

Neopopulas Posted January 25, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 25, 2023 (edited) So i was doing some work in photoshop today and i saw this thread so i thought i'd just throw these together for you. As you can see because its a square the multiple-action diamonds are smaller but there isn't much you can do about that. Colin Posted January 25, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 25, 2023 @Neopopulas What about shrinking the larger diamonds down to the same size as the triple diamond, while retaining a 72 px canvas? And also, those look great, appreciate the work! 🙂
Neopopulas Posted January 25, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 25, 2023 Easy-Peasy, the single diamonds have a bit more space around them because, well, the icons are only about 30px in a 75px transparent box to make them all line up but they do look a bit better. For comparison. I do think the smaller over-all but more consistent icons look better.
Amy Posted January 25, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 25, 2023 Thanks! Those look great! And good suggestion, Peff. They will get used often and as an emoji is a good way to do it.
Peff Posted January 25, 2023 Author Clone Share Posted January 25, 2023 Thanks @Neopopulasfor jumping in! Those look fantastic. Hoping all the 2e players find them handy 🙂
Eric Posted January 26, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 26, 2023 I think these are almost ready to go. Two notes-- @Neopopulas: There is a stray white blob in the three actions image. @bwatford: We will need to add the following CSS rule to ensure the custom emoji scale in our themes. img[data-emoticon="true"] { height: 1.3em; vertical-align: bottom; }
Neopopulas Posted January 26, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 26, 2023 Good catch. I have destroyed the blob.
bwatford Posted January 26, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 26, 2023 @Eric The CSS has been deployed across all themes as requested.
Amy Posted January 26, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 26, 2023 Ok. Now how do you use emojis? 😉
bwatford Posted January 26, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 26, 2023 In the edit bar when you are creating a message the smiley face pulls up your emojis...... But under PF2E I only see the single action and triple action. I do not see the double action. And when creating a message they look really tiny but when you save the message, they get really big. 😃
Eric Posted January 26, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 26, 2023 I haven't finished processing them yet. Stopped when I ran into the issues above 😆
Suzuki Stumpy Posted January 26, 2023 Clone Share Posted January 26, 2023 I'm only seeing the broken image link icon in @bwatford's post above. (and yes, cleared cache)
