I’ve never heard of a medieval firefighter, but is there a profession that deals with fires regularly (like charcoal burner, or smith) where a professional roll might help in this case?

@IWantBapo Example of how I manage maneuvers for a crusader...
List in post...
Crusader's Strike (W)
Vanguard Strike (W)
Stone Bones (W)
Leading the Attack (W)
Charging Minotaur (W)

There are 5 W's (i.e. withheld) so for round 1 I would roll 1d5 and got a 2, mark what was rolled with a G.

Crusader's Strike (W)
Vanguard Strike (G)
Stone Bones (W)
Leading the Attack (W)
Charging Minotaur (W)

So there are 4 W's now. I roll a d4 for the second granted maneuver for round 1, get a 4 and mark that one, again with a G.

Crusader's Strike (W)
Vanguard Strike (G)
Stone Bones (W)
Leading the Attack (W)
Charging Minotaur (G)

Now in round 1 I use Charging Minotaur so it gets expended, i.e. E.
Crusader's Strike (W)
Vanguard Strike (G)
Stone Bones (W)
Leading the Attack (W)
Charging Minotaur (E)

Round 2 I have 3 W's (withheld) in the pool, one G (granted), and one E (expended) so I roll 1d3, get a 2 for round 2 and mark it a G

Crusader's Strike (W)
Vanguard Strike (G)
Stone Bones (G)
Leading the Attack (W)
Charging Minotaur (E)

So now I can use Vanguard Strike or Strong Bones. Rinse and repeat this process.

Crusader's Strike (W)
Vanguard Strike (G)
Stone Bones (G)
Leading the Attack (W)
Charging Minotaur (E)

Of course when you reach the end of a round with no withheld maneuvers they get reset...

Crusader's Strike (G)
Vanguard Strike (E)
Stone Bones (G)
Leading the Attack (E)
Charging Minotaur (E)

That for example. 😉

No idea if that would be easier for you but I found it works quite well. *shrug*
