Can we talk tactics for a moment? Snagging Strike is all nice and well, but a +2 AC from a shield is nice too. If we have enough combat cantrips that don't attack AC, it is not a big deal. But Banana is a Magus can do big damage, if he hits, so setting him up with flanking or Snagging Strike is sure useful. No idea how tight quarters will be in those tunnels though...

Sweet Tooth can sit at the back, holding a torch and whipping magic bolts from her wand, if that helps.

She only needs two hands if she wants to cast her gouging claw cantrip, or use her sword, which are more backups anyway.

Banana is also a great gnoll who can switch to two-handing his weapon for ANOTHER bonus to shoving and tripping. If we can get the melee fighters to gang-up, Banana can open them to some nasty damage by constantly tripping them up. I've also decided to spend 48 gp on insect repellent salves. So

Not really, they don't learn spells (Sweet Tooth only knows 2 cantrips from wizard archetype)
They can fight in close or at range depending on weapon choice, and implement choice.
They use their knowledge to find weaknesses in enemies, then exploit those weaknesses for bonus damage.
Each implemenet gives them a different ability, and they strengthen that implement as they level up, and eventually get more.

Sweet Tooth has a wand that can shoot electrical damage so she does most damage at range, but if she uses exploit weakness, she can do decent damage with her short sword too.

Okay, with that in mind, here's a suggested marching order (front to back):

<---Mac <---Banana <---Omolara <---Sweeth Tooth <---Thura

That puts the two best melees forward with our cleric in the rear in case of attack from the direction. Ranged in the middle where they can shoot either way.
