FIrst, you need to go to school, and checking what jobs you need you can take all years through till doctorate or stop before if don't need it. Each school course will earn you XP and a boost to your EDU which is your book smarts which starts at int+Wis/2 as base.

The education schools go up to doctorate. Once finish there you can choose specialist school like medical school, fight school etc. Check any other schools you want to take remember they are adding years to your age.

Once you finish all your studies start to build your background careers, again should have a list you need based on jobs, its NOT that important which order but it you take careers that you do not require for the background they start to give you minus on getting in other careers like multiple class penalty rules

 

Now to tell how dangerous a career is any result that says roll on injury table means there is a chance to die, lose limbs eyes arms etc. So you DO NOT want ot roll on that if can so the more events listed with that the higher change you have to roll on them.

 

Another thing to watch is the mustering out tables, that is what you get when you leave the career, some have good rewards like spaceship and big money. So some careers may want to be taken for the rewards. ATM I think the party has 8 spaceships won and we are working on a thundercats type syle ship to be built. As all these ships are being built from scratch we need to convict the AI that run this to let us build our own ship not the stock ones the system gives, that will take a Computer USe (AI) check to get them to agree

Note on Computer Use, your skill is not used here, the computers are so different they have their own subskills that you have to learn at own skill, you can use your base Computer Use to do any of the subskill up to DC 10 but nothing else:

How would Enoch gain the Computer subskills and how do his feats and class features interact with them?

so they are just taken like anything else so it you want to assign skill points to them you can, if you got the career skills you can assign 1 point and auto-get them at that rank without any more investment needed. As they wont be useful after you leave should put too much points in.

 

see below actually, they have to cover all like craft or knowledge all else skills focus for sure does not work other may if does not require to choose a subskill like knowledge or craft

Need a little help figuring out how Enoch can get/apply Background Career Skills. I think ranks are needed in:

Computers (AI)

Computers (Data)

Computers (Biotech)

Engineering

Medicine/Heal (it's got different name sin different places)

 

Not sure which to prioritize, likely one of the Computers skills.

So your feats and class features treat the subskill like craft, if the effect has a blanket all under skill like all craft all knowledge then it would apply. if its like skill focus then it doesn't apply as it's not covered as skill focus is targeted 1 skill under many.

if got have skills in school check under which degree and apply what ranks you start with, if get a 2nd time and the starting rank will be lower, add 1 to the current ranks.

 

Regardless you can use the career skills in any career that ask for rolls.

 

The career skills you get in careers will go up in rank as you go up in rank in your career. When you muster out you locked all the skills you have with your skills. If later your rank goes up or down the rank is always tied to that rank from that career.

 

As there are PF d20 and starfinder for heal use whatever you use for your system

I think I did the Survival Roll wrong, it's EDU based, so I literally can't fail it? Enoch has his arm! I also saw that you can increase the Survival DC to gain increased rewards, so I need to redo the Career Rolls altogether. Will edit above.

Life event you roll like you do normal event 2d6 and you give that two digit number to Wrath and he will tell you what you make. Its a hidden table only he has access to.
