I would not stress out about consumable items. You get what you pay for, and that's that. I'm just happy to see fundamental runes gone. Let us look forward to getting magical items that actually do neat things! 🙂

I can live with that, but I think you (Abber) are buying yourself some avoidable headaches...

Perhaps 🙂 - maybe even likely. Though vanilla rules are not without their challenges either. To take just one example: Right now the battlefield is littered with weapons - and at this level, a significant share of those weapons carry fundamental runes. So far in the campaign, you have not been extremely diligent in combing through everything when you have finished an encounter. And I respect that! I think it is very much in character for heroes to focus more on the job at hand and less on how much loot we can scrape off the battlefield - not least, if your characters are under the impression that reinforcements may arrive at any time. But it also means that you may forego loot that you are "supposed" to pick up. Does this mean that I will have to "reinsert" passed-on loot at other places to maintain mathematical balance? (I already have done that at various points). The ARP lessens that headache at least.

All right... first question: does the refunding of his fundamental runes buy Cirmaran his Wayfinder? :)

To be honest, I had completely forgotten about that. If I remember correctly, it was ordered through mail a long time ago? I think it is safe to assume that it is sitting waiting for Cirmaran back in Breechill.

Oh right, there are two more pillars. Hmm, small detour to Akrivel to dump off deliver Pendergrast to civilisation? I'm sure the Ekujae will be happy to shove escort him through Huntergate (maybe he even gets a warm welcome from the Dahak apparitio *snicker*). Kib has the two Warg pups to help him keep Pendergrast in line, and I am sure Miss Gardenia knows how to wrangle self-important know-it-alls like him too.

@Abberdaggus That reminds me: I should pick up another Additional Lore feat some time to make Desert Lore scale and give Samrod trained Warfare Lore (he really ought to have that).

I will, however, probably not manage to add anything to Samrod's Survival skill (I'm sure Cirmaran will cover that nicely), and some natural hazards require Expert in survival to even spot them. If Samrod advances his Desert Lore, will you count that as satisfying the requirement for spotting Expert hazards while in a desert maybe?

Sure - that sounds reasonable enough. Though, you may need to remind me if it ever comes up.

Oh don't worry about that. 😁

Uh... looking at the map icon, it looks like nobody so far took care of Pendergrast's injuries? Maybe Samrod should see to them? 🤔

I'm all for a more gradual improvement in magical effects, and I think your explanation would cover Cirmaran's taking both cantrips... :)

@AbberdaggusI was thinking of adding them to the LOOT SHEET but I don't want to create any confusion. Can I go ahead an add these (largely un-identified) items?

Edit: Plus I know we have some other items we found, like the potions in the shed, although I don't think we IDed all of those either.
