Edmund babbles incoherently for a few seconds, blinks, looks around angrily for someone to strike and seeing no one nearby shrugs and babbles incoherently again. Then he shakes his head as if to clear it, suddenly feeling like himself again.

"Bait needs to be enticing. That may include weakness, it depends on the appetite of whomever is being hunted.

Izenfen is seeking an opponent, who's identity she does not likely know. She will know, like us, that she should expect a fight.

We need to make the cave appear occupied, but do so in a way that draws her in.

Perhaps I could craft a branch tunnel near the back. If we drag the Bandersnatch's corpse into the smaller tunnel we might entice her group to enter the confined space while they investugate."
