I have been suffering from a bacterial infection while still recovering from Covids. It moved deep into my lungs, and I cannot incline and must try to sleep in a chair sitting upright. My sinus infection is back and bad again too, along with the pounding headaches. Posting now. 😩 Yikes! Sounds absolutely miserable! @Chaz Hoosier I was holding off on posting in case Crescenda was going to reply to Camlann's reply. Terran Posted October 2, 2023 Author Clone Share Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) What are the thin lines on the map in front of each side hallway? Is there some reason we can't see down these open corridors with torches and normal vision for 15-30 ft, or low-light vision for 30 ft, or darkvision for 60 ft? Chaz Hoosier Posted October 2, 2023 Clone Share Posted October 2, 2023 The side passages are open but go on further than your torchlight. The thin lines are the arches over the passage entrances carved to look like the faces and open mouths of fanged demons. Ruess Posted October 3, 2023 Clone Share Posted October 3, 2023 Can our lock opener try to estimate if they can jimmy the lock by taking either 10 or 20? Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls

SCARY WIZARD Posted October 4, 2023 Clone Share Posted October 4, 2023 Yyyo! Back in the saddle, weekend was crap -- on the blower with sick relatives, and running logistical stuff for them. Now, let... us... see... What I can do! 😼😼😼 Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
Terran Posted October 4, 2023 Author Clone Share Posted October 4, 2023 Taking 20 takes about 2 minutes acording to the SRD. Guidance must be used within 1 minute after it is cast. DM - Are these compatible or mutually exclusive? Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
Chaz Hoosier Posted October 4, 2023 Clone Share Posted October 4, 2023 As I read it, Guidance applies to a roll, which taking 20 is not. Unless anyone knows a line in the rules that says otherwise. Ruess Posted October 4, 2023 Clone Share Posted October 4, 2023 I vote take 20. We are not in a hurry and there does not seem to be a trap mechanism involved. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls

raxivort Posted October 7, 2023 Clone Share Posted October 7, 2023 @Chaz Hoosier Regarding the group's mission, IIRC us latecomers weren't instructed to recover any stolen goods, right? We were sent to deal with the goblins/bandits, i.e. basically a bounty hunt? Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
Terran Posted October 7, 2023 Author Clone Share Posted October 7, 2023 Exactly, but snuggs and I figured we would cut you guys in on the trade goods deal.....................at, shall we say, ten percent for you to divide among yourselves equally, less expenses and sundries of course! :) Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls

Chaz Hoosier Posted October 7, 2023 Clone Share Posted October 7, 2023 The first group is on a mission from the Chicane Guild to retrieve a shipment of spices. The second group is on a mission from the leader of Sumberton to eliminate the goblins raiding shipping along the road. By sheer coincidence both missions pay the same fee. Neither employer has said anything about any other loot discovered during the mission. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
