Characters Present: Emily, Fili, Vidar in bathhouse.

Vidar rushes up to the thug engaged with Fili and kicks at him but misses. Emily attempts to make herself unstuck but remains firmly attached to the floor!

Caught somewhat off-guard by the new combatant, the club wielding thug misses his swing at Fili, then shifts so he can face both her and Vidar.

The robed man in the the doorway takes a slow, menacing step forward while flinging a stone missile at Emily. She attempts to dodge but the stone hits her in the shoulder. She winces at the hit but shakes it off.

The magic stone bolt hits Emily but causes 0 damage.

"Not to worry, ma'am. We are not here to cause you any trouble. There are...nefarious men about, we think. We will leave immediately, but...have you seen any dealings, ruffians, thugs, cultists, or...stones? If so, we may be able to compensate you for the information, if it helps us stop what is happening."

"Thank ye, Vidar!" Fili yells as she takes another swing at the thug. She's tempted to step behind him, but doesn't want to leave him free to strike at Emily, so she stays where she is.

This time the thug fails to defend and Fili's staff strikes true. The man lets out a grunt as the wind is knocked out of him. He still seems to be in the fight, but Fili can tell that his energy is waning.


OOC: Single attack this turn. Boring.

It looks to me like an LOS from the robed man to Emily passes through Fili's hex. Should he be able to target Emily?

GM NOTE: GM edited results directly into this post. The Thug is clearly at his 1/2 Move and Dodge threshold!

Just as the child points, both Richard and Alvan hear a very aggressive shout coming from the same direction.

As Harolde and Hank make their way along the alcove lined walkway on the 2nd floor of the, they both think they hear quiet talking from somewhere behind them, possibly from through the the hole in the wall leading into the next-door building. Keeping an eye on the large lower section, Harolde is quite surprised when someone pops out of one of the alcoves shouting and swinging a club at his head!

Harolde needs to defend if he doesn't want to get brained!

After Harolde defends, Hank can do something, though he's already taken a couple of steps this round (I'm assuming he was following Harolde, so he'll have to take a Move and Attack if he wants to reach him this round. Do Hank and Harolde have weapons out?

The monk moves past Fili's foe and strikes him solidly despite the man's feeble attempt at a dodge. He then makes his way over toward the other opponent near the doorway!

Harolde tries to interpose his quarterstaff at the new threat, swinging it wide to send the club off-target.

"This must be one of the bad guys! Let's get him, Harolde!"

The thug, anticipating Hank's strike, easily parries with his club.


Hank does a Heroic Charge (spending 1 FP) to swing at the foe.

As Vidar nears the robed man, he is shocked to see that instead of arms, the man has long snakes as arms, instead of fists, there are fanged snake heads. The man whips a punch at Vidar's torso that appears to be on target!

The thug engaged with Fili takes another swipe at her then steps back around the corner a bit.

Emily remains attached to the floor!

Both Fili and Vidar are being attacked with successful hits. @hakootoko @Svartalf

Because he made a Move and Attack last round, Vidar cannot Parry with his punching hand (he CAN Parry with his other hand, though) and he may not Retreat. He CAN Dodge normally if he chooses.

With a grunt of effort, Hank twists to avoid the club.

Whoa! That was a close one!

Flexing as he turns, he slashes out at the thug again! But he was still recovering from his defense, and his swing goes wide.


Hank used Feverish Defense. Rolled on discord and got 8 out of his Dodge of 12.
