The only thing that wasn't black was her leather boots on her feet. But that wouldn't stop her from trying to find black boots one day. She looked to the rest of her party before looking back to the waitress. To be honest we're here to defeat the goblins in the nearby area. Though I'm not sure how much of an asset I'll be. So any information would be lovely. Though I don't know when we'll actually be leaving the village to be honest.

The only person who can explore got the f*ck out when I was 10, sold it 6 months ago and we saw that Elf. So whatever rots on that estate is protected by law, while their spillover is ours to handle. If there wasn't for seasonal workers who knows what could happen? They are crude men, far from pillars of society, but they don't give two shits about law, and they know how to fight. I don't want to put down our militia, but they abide by the law, also those who were touched personally as old Grom and a few more are mere individuals. Everyone jokes about Goblins until their village is the center of their attention. Trust me they are far from funny."

Lumina sighed softly before nodding. Sometimes I wonder if we shouldn't change the laws for the greater protection of society. Don't get me wrong I believe in personal property too. But when it threatens the safety of the entire village or more is threatened private space should go out the window. From what we know there is nothing leading the goblins tactically, but what happens if it turns out to be a more rigid hierarchy than we imagined in the first place. We don't have an army to take against the goblins. Lumina grit her teeth as she looked towards the door. I am a student of knowledge versus a student of violence. I can protect myself well enough but I fear a hoard of enemies. Looking about at the group who was sent to slay the goblins she sat straight up. Not that I can't trust them I just don't capabilities.

There is a moment where Lumina can see a performer and a person clash, Mary looks at her "Laws are laws and I told you more than I should. Thank you for your tip but I gave you a way, follow it or don't. Now if you will excuse me, thanks to you we are at capacity." She doesn't leave with animosity, but she does leave to serve another table.

Lumina looked to Alexis with a frown. In all seriousness risking anyone's life unnecessarily isn't something I like. Besides I have a single spell prepared for that occasion. She said before shaking her head. I'm a little bit frail myself so I'd rather not take the risk of being overwhelmed by goblins myself. Letting out an exasperated sigh she looked towards the only one who couldn't see. I think it depends on how long it is before we get to our destination.

modifi er decreases after you make the pact, you lose the
ability to make untrained checks with an equal number of
the chosen skills. Lost skills are chosen randomly, and they
remain inaccessible to you until you make another pact with
Naberius.
- Persuasive Words: You can direct a verbal command at a
single living target within 30 feet as if using the command
spell. A successful Will save negates the effect. When your
effective binder level reaches 14th, your words become even
more persuasive and this ability functions like the suggestion
spell. Once you have used this ability, you cannot do so again
for 5 rounds.
- Silver Tongue: You can take 10 on Diplomacy and Bluff
checks even if distracted or threatened. In addition, you can
make a rushed Diplomacy check as a standard action and take
no penalty. (Normally, a rushed Diplomacy check requires a
full-round action and imposes a –10 penalty on the check.)

The waitress looks at Damien slightly confused turning her head to check does is he in the same group as the girl that came before him. Confirming that, indeed, he is. Her confusion deepens but she looks at him and then at the coin and sighs "You guys are one odd bunch." Coin vanishes the same as the first one, but this time she turns and yells "Tyrion, come here a second!!"

Half Elf in the bunch turns and when he sees her with Damien there is a puzzled look on his face but he approaches them nonetheless brushing off a few no-doubt jabs from three other full-blooded Elves. Once two men are opposed to one another, Mary places a hand on the shoulder of each one "I always wanted to connect people, that's why I got in this job, obviously. Tyrion this is Lumina's friend, don't bother thinking about who is that now, it will be explained I'm sure. But the important thing is that she and her friend, Mary tap at Damien's shoulder would like a guide to your village and want to pay for it. Trust me, I was paid twice for the same job for some Gods forsaken reason. Now I leave you two to discuss business while I do other parts of my job... like being a waitress." She plans a kiss on Half Elf's cheek and vanishes in the crowd.

Tyrion turns after her for a second before facing Damien tilting his head slightly "It is most likely less important, but who is Lumina and why the Hell would you pay twice?" It would be almost unnoticeable that he is not a full-blooded Elf if he didn't decide to keep a light shade of the beard and had a slightly heavier set. Everything else was almost picture-perfect. from above-average attractiveness to piercing green eyes. that now stared right into Damien's. It was obvious he was trying to get a read on the adventurer.

For if we had any - sense, that is - we wouldn't be storming into caves and hurling words of arcane force - words that, might I add, take years to learn - into the face of murderous goblins; no, we would be fat and happy, lying to some semi-literate king about what the stars portend." Damian nods at his own sage advice while steering the half-elf toward the table where the rest of the group waits.

"Might as well ask why I'll have developed horns and a rich baritone come the morn. Instead, let me introduce you to Lumina and the others, and you shall discover that we wish to reward you handsomely for an escort to your village." And with that, the human introduces the likely-baffled Tyrion to the other adventurers.

Half-Elf pauses for a second then shrugs and follows Damien but stops some 10 feet away from the table. Now he doesn't speak a thing and when he stops both of his hands are on the two curved daggers on his belt. Moreover, very interesting newcomers suddenly get a LOT of free space.

Some untrustworthy souls could tie it to the other three Elves whose heavy bows vanished from sight like magic and now the party very much has their full attention. And incidentally, those in the party who can sense that kind of thing feel a building of magic energy from that general area. Actually most relaxed of all seems to be Tyrion, who, while not answering Damien, seems relaxed and still more curious than suspicious. But since Damien answered with a whole bunch of nothing, he kept his distance and now observed the entire set instead of just Damien. Depending on the point of view, he fortunately/unfortunately doesn't seem particularly concerned.

More like he is the one who decides what will happen next than the other way around. And somehow other three Elves look even less concerned. Some with hunter sense can feel that they kind of deciding whether should they attack pre-emptively. And by the behaviour of locals, it seems that is not the first time.
