Maybe their head of security?" There presence would not go unnoticed, so maybe announcing themselves and their business here would go along way to clearing up any confusion about their purpose here. Many may not know they are heroes and instead mistake them for villains. They will need this facilities cooperation, so proper introductions should be made. Action He would like to use his time to study up on the area of the potential heist, and learn more about the Crushers through whatever sources are available to him (usually electronic means). The Monitor COMPLICATIONS Motivation - Doing Good Possessing a strong positive outlook towards life allowed Mitchel to never succumb to the darkness of his fate, and when he was able to create an artificial body to house his digital consciousness he was nothing but grateful for the opportunity to continue living a 2nd Life. This feeling of gratitude and goodwill makes him want to share his thanks with others. Motivation - Responsibility Because his new body makes him more than human he feels obligated to use its abilities to better serve humanity for the common good. Never one to openly advocate violence he understands that force must be meet with greater force in order to stop it; though if he is able to find another solution he is willing to explore that first. Weakness - Quantum Entanglement Mitchel suffers from an incurable disease that has left his consciousness trapped inside his paralytic body, and because his digital consciousness is quantum entangled with his moral body if anything were to happen to his paralyzed body that would result in death would his digital conscious also share the same fate? It is unknown but highly plausible that both consciousness would perish. When the mortal body finally gives out it might also end the existence of the digital consciousness as well? He moved to the main doors and opened them, leading the way inside. He walks up to the security guard. Morning. We were asked to come assist in defending this site by Detective Broykowski. Did he give you a heads up we were coming? He tries to appear as unmenacing as possible, but being hidden in his costume with no parts of his body showing sometimes put off civilians when interacting with them. If the guard is aware of them then he asks for a quick tour of the facilities so they can get an idea of the layout and where the items they think the Crushers will be after, are. We- I mean, hold on." He keyed his radio and turned just a bit away from the heroes, "Uh--Sir? I mean, Dunn to base. I have -- some people here at main saying they're with OPD. Uh, could be Crusaders. Copy?" He lowers his radio and gives the heroes a smiling nod while clearly looking them over with unhidden awe -- then the radio, "10-4, Mobile 3. We've got them on camera: they're 10-41. 10-59 the guests during their investigation and Mobile 2 will cover Main, copy?" Dunn nods at the radio, "10-4. I'll be 10-8 then." The officer (Dunn) turns to the heroes, "You're fine. Uh - is there anywhere specific you wanted to go? I can help with access." He looks over at the security officer as he talks, expressionless mask staring at him. "Do you guys have any anti air defences up? I'd like to take a bird's eye view of the area, and I'd rather not be shut out of the sky." If given confirmation that he's good to fly, Custodian flies up until he has a good overview of the immediate area, and he scans the area for a good view minutes, trying to discern any likely avenues of attack that the Crushers might take. Was looking for an overall layout of the place as well as the location of the items that the Crushers are most likely after. Our intent is to set an ambush for them so when they arrive we can take out one or two before they know we are here and attempt to keep collateral damage to a minimum. Aegis will check out the paths to the two rooms and see if he can find some good places for the group to hide and await the Crushers entrance. He also calls the Detective and asks if they might be able to get a couple of flash bangs from the special team. An other older, well-dressed gentleman exits the building - "Good morning, to you all. I apologize for my tardiness but, time moves in one direction and memory another. I am J. B. Curtis, Chief Financial Officer for Manning Enterprises, LLC. Detective Broykowski mentioned you people would be visiting our facility today, so an impromptu get-together was determined necessary." He smiled politely at Officer Dunn, "You may return to your duties, officer - I will accompany our guests." After a deferential, "Yes, sir", Dunn hurries back into the building leaving the heroes with Curtis on the sidewalk, where he continues, "Regrettably, our president is currently entertaining himself elsewhere, so I must play intermediary. And, I must apologize for my candid concern BUT, are any of you duly experienced in handling a situation as dire as the police have outlined to me? Normally, Manta-Man and his allies spend a goodly amount of time here at Manning, but alas, they too are seemingly beyond correspondence. As for our experience, well, we are new and have never gone up against the Crushers, but then they have never gone up against us. In this case we have the element of surprise and we hope to use it to hit them hard and take one or two of them out of the fight fast. Our thoughts were to wait for them to breach the front doors and then hit them hard driving them back outside to limit damage to your buildings. We were told you would be pulling your people out of the area and the police would be setting up on the outskirts of your compound ready to come in once we take down the Crushers. If the Crushers are left unchecked, no one can say where they will stop, if ever, or what they're planning. They're not a band of typical supervillans, but a coordinated team of professional terrorists, most of them with an official military background. I have a feeling they are planning something big, so it is even more crucial to stop them. And we will do just that, but in order for us to be able to, we need to work together. As Aegis just said, we just need to pull your people out so we can handle them as fast as possible.
