I broke my ankle a couple years back, the day after I turned 50 (and had a really great 50th birthday party). Boy was that painful. They didn't give me anything but Ibuprofen for the pain 😞 Strangely, since it happened during the pandemic and everyone had to do work from zoom, I didn't have to miss any days since it was my right foot in a cast and I wouldn't have been able to drive. But I was able to hobble out to my computer and zoom. Did a couple days from my bed! shhhhh!
