He was dressed in faded and worn dueling leathers, the sort one might expect a low ranking duelist might wear on the streets of Restov, but he carried nothing that might be mistaken for an Aldori dueling sword. Just a pair of mismatched knives, a long stiletto with a chip in the pommel and a handleless ring knife that could only have been for throwing. “.... guarding merchant caravans and the like. The light fare seemed a little short on sugar and honey, but otherwise met with Haughaloogie's approval. It certainly was superior to barbecued rat on a stick and did not include any mystery meat. "The food is good. Is there more?" he gushes, echoing Druknar's words, while looking across the table at the three he didn't know with a jury's out expression on his face. "I've got plenty of dirges, if we need them - I swear half the musical population of Ustalav makes nothing else. Dirges, fugues, and tragic ballads. But whatever we're lined up for, I'm also hoping to make sure that we don't need them. Losing bits and pieces is so undignified." Though being bound for the Stolen Lands wasn't all that encouraging on the "no dirges" front - there was a reason for that perpetual cycle of "reclaiming." On the other hand, it was a good place for people who wanted to make a name for themselves in spite of polite society's objections. "If I'd known they were looking for a storyteller, perhaps I should have signed up for that. But I'm better at melody than narrative, anyway." She grinned. "Valeria Krysova, at your service. A heavy hand firmly slapping the table, "I adore you, I might try to adopt you into my house when it becomes relevant. I, appreciate your energy, however." She'd pause for a moment bringing her hands together expressing concern, "I would like to propose either we handle this formally with an honor duel, or we wait for a better opportunity to capitalize. We want team building, I have a Chellish drinking game. It'll tell us plenty about each other and we can bond over drinks." Her fingers would splay open as her palms would etend out inviting everyone to join the game, "Not that we need to actually drink ourselves stupid. We could bet coppers on it or something to keep the game in good fun. Anyways, you tell two lies about yourself and one truth, if people guess your truth you drink or pay, if you fail to guess the truth you pay or drink." She'd shrug her shoulders curious to see what the others thought of the proposal.
