She activated the trigger on her shield, causing it to fold up into a smaller version of itself, all the easier to reload with. One of her pistols still on the ground, she tore one of the premade alchemical cartridges off her bandolier, pouring it into her pistol before taking a shot at the person closest to her. A field of black, rubbery tentacles erupts down the adjoining hall, gripping and violating the reinforcement fighters(2,8,9). Batalan moved past the sputtering insurgent(4), plainly ignoring his feeble attempts to stop jis advance. As he approached the previously confused archer(2) and cast his spell, it was easily dodged by her, however his instincts and afterthought served him well at least, in that the scorching ray had struck true in the target he had already moved past. Coming up to bat behind her squadra mate's cover, Octavia outright drops the one reserve combatant(8), dismembering him just above the knee with a masterful stroke. Directing her vicious fauchard then to the woman(2), Octavia manages to carve a coupe deep gouges in her arm, rendering her unconscious as well. Pointing her finger down the rear hallway, Giada fires a bead of force at the deserter(6) that explodes into a ball of flames, immediately knocking out the poor sap. After taking a quick moment to adjust herself, Narcipia reloads and fires her pistol once again, lodging another bullet into the insurgent's arm(4). Still undetected, Sophronia skulks behind enemy lines, firing a bolt right into the support bowman's(C) calf. After being whittled down by 1354's companymen, the bumbling insurgent(4) was an easy kill for the unnamed hellknight. With a hawk's swing of his earthbreaker, he smashed it down upon the rebel's knee, instantly crippling him. As he falls to the ground, the man sputters and whines in pain for only a moment, before the blood loss quickly claims his life. In his attempt to throw up a struggle and escape the black tentacles, the last remaining victim(9) of the Maralictor's spell stumbles a few steps forward, landing himself square in Octavia and Batalan's arcs of reach. Literally seeing the front lines of their defences crumble, the support archer(C) yells something as he falls back along the other hallway in an effort to escape the hellknights. Her other one still sat on the floor, though she was comfortable with the fact it could not be used. She would need to retrieve it at some point however. The smell of gunpowder permeated her senses as she fired multiple shots at the remaining enemies, her free hand moving to replenish her ammo as she shot. Seeing the last standing enemy fall, Narcipia quickly scooped up the weapon on the ground, sheathing the one in her hand. She hustled forward moving suprisingly fast in her heavy armor, rounding the corner just as she loaded a new cartridge into her gun. She rushed forward and around the corner with her supernatural speed but it wasn't enough to catch the fleeing one. She instead let her rage go, shoulders slumping in momentary exhaustion and paused to cast a spell, dragging the fleeing one, or more accurately his skeleton, closer while causing intense pain. "ኃይለኛ ነጎድጓድ" Almost simultaneously, the Maralictor and Octavia cast a pair of spells at the retreating archer, one wrenching and wracking his bones and the other summoning an electrifying thundercloud to greet him, followed shortly by another bolt from Sophronia's crossbow. Backing away against a door, the archer fires off two arrows in a mad panic, but misses on both accounts. After 1354 hurries around the corner to lead the charge once again, Narcipia picks up her pistol and reloads, only to hear a door slam open from behind.
