I'll let them know where to find you, if that should come to pass." She gives him a pat on the arm. "Hopefully, it won't." As if seeing a friend off while they go on a personal errand, she gives the Monk a polite, staged nod and then regards Kelarith's interaction with Snowbelle with interest. "Those are Rookroost rogues guild members. They may be a problem if we get noticed by them. Unfortunately our options all around are not great as we can take the long way to the dragon but we will be out in the open longer, an alleyway shortcut however that just begs trouble all around, or we could go underground via the sewers but there is a known gang of were rats down there that are friendly with the Rookers. I'd sooner take the long way and keep our head on a swivel but if any one has better ideas I am all ears." "Curiosity and boredom, mostly. My sister Maia left our village one day, to explore the lowlands. Things just weren't the same without her, so I left to find her and regale her with my own adventures, once I have them. She was always so good at telling stories," Snowbelle finishes wistfully. "And yourself? What is your story?" When Rindo points out the guild members, Snowbelle looks them over thoughtfully, not quite managing to be inconspicious. "These people... they are your enemies? Rivals? I could try talking with them. I'm not the diplomat my sister is, but I have a way with people all the same." prophane Posted January 28 Author Clone Share Posted January 28 Location: streets of Rookroost, Bandit Kingdoms Date: Waterday, Fifth of Growfest (festival week) Time: around 3:30pm Weather: Cold, 42°, cloudy skies and moderate wind from the south Sunrise/set: just after 6am/ just before 6:30pm Character Present: Arwi, Finn, Kelarith, Nessia, Rindo, Snowbelle Standing at the entrance to the busy intersection, after a few minutes, everyone notices quite a few figures that could easily be lookouts or spies watching for Rindo. It seems a dangerous proposition to move through the area. At the least it would give away the destination, at worst, it would end up in a fight. Rindo suggests a few other possible routes, but it seems that the decisions should be made quickly as the watchers are on the move. It does not seem that they have spotted Rindo yet, but if they shift to new locations in the market, they will undoubtedly spot him at some point. OOC Which way should the group proceed, looks like Rindo is asking for some help in making the decision. After a slight pause, he discretely points out the rooftops, and then quickly at the numerous groups of thugs. The Drunken Dragon is a two-story building with stained-glass windows in a pattern similar to dragon’s scales. The inside of the building continues this theme, with a dragon-scale texture carved into the woodwork on the walls, and the stairs’ railing carved into a multi-legged dragon with ruby eyes and open maw. The owner shows the group to a set of rooms that are mostly hidden away from the main part of the inn. Secret and hard to find. Food and drink is brought in to a small common area and everyone settles in for the night and to plan the next day's moves. Amira says she has made the arrangements to have her cargo taken care of and her wagon delivered here in the morning. She has a small compartment in the wagon that she says will safely get Rindo out of town the next day. OOC If you want any in character conversation back in the safety of the inn, go for it, otherwise, do something else (go out, go to barroom) or go to bed and we'll move on!
