I would like to try advancing us to the next scene soon. I have Thursday and Friday off so I'll aim for an update post which will put the team planet-side.

I'm really excited for this module because it breaks the normal linear structure in favor of a more sandbox approach. I'm really excited to see what you all come up with in order to "solve the problems" as it were. You'll be able to stretch out a bit more and not just be immediately chased from places or ordered to others.

If I understand correctly, one can only make Knowledge checks about a DC 10 if trained. I'll roll a Galactic Lore check here to know the Cato Neimoidia DC 10 stuff you wish to share.

I'm wondering if Nina's knowledge of Hutt society might give her some DC 10 info (which she gets without a roll due to her Background) about Hutts who run operations on remote worlds (e.g. outside of Hutt Space), e.g. is it usually a punishment? are they cut off from their crime family in any way? is there a certain title used when addressing them? Stuff like that.

Also, I'm struggling to come up with an example, but is there any DC 10 info Nina might know about Darga? Maybe the crime family he belongs to or...?

I'm allowing Common Knowledge topics to be rolled untrained. It represents stuff you've overheard or done small talk about throughout your lives. That's what makes it Common--though you only get the one try to know it or not. I feel that's a good risk/reward. Plus it helps characters (and players) learn more about the lore and I think that's pretty dope. Like an educational game that isn't garbage.

Oof, just missed the check. But I'll give you something concerning the Cartel, as well as about Darga.

One thing I've noticed about the Inline dice roller here is that you have to add a blank line either before or after the roll so that you can further edit the post once you know the result. You cannot edit anything about the dice roll itself, however, not even the label.

I do wish you could preview the roll and it would remain the same when you posted - that way you didn't have to post to see the result and then edit the post accordingly.

You can roll dice and edit at the same time. You do have to put something up first, but after that, you can hit the dice in the upper left and roll away while editing.

Speaking of hit points, @Essex where are you getting those 2 extra from? We should have the same amount.

Tetra will definitely take Remy up on that and give his shockboxing gloves a +2 to damage.

The Destruction and Rescue Destinies are now active for 24 hours.

Both Destinies grant a +2 Destiny bonus on damage rolls to self and allies, so Tetra, Jal, and Shade all give off a 10' radius of bonus damage. They are the same bonus and so cannot stack.

 

Damn shame they can't stack - combat would be pretty fun!

@Malkavian Grin In terms of gear, is it possible to add an additional upgrade slots to my hooded robes? Not sure if 'clothes' have slots?

I was thinking that its probably a good idea to try and hide my lightsaber in case I'm searched at some point. I was looking at the upgrades and found: secret compartment, spring loaded and environmental sealing. Although each take a slot. Thoughts?

 

Also if I ask Remy to improve its armor rating (Fort) would that make it armor rather than clothes from now on?
