As it seemed to work what she was doing, Paim simply did it again and threw another electric arc at the two critters.

Day 4 9:00am

This round of combat turns into a slog. Dom is able to slice the beast once. Hoog was only able to hit it while defending Dom. The creature was able to dodge part of Paim's attack. Neither Ginni or Gal were able to connect. Then it tried to bite and claw Dom and Hoog. However it was able to get past their defenses.

Never change a winning team, Paim thought as she launched another electric arc on the critters. However this time something seemed to block her and no spell came forth. There were a few choice curses she grumbled about not being able to cast.

You've dedicated yourself to studying ancient techniques and memorized minor prayers against undead to swiftly dispatch them. Make a Strike against a creature you know is undead. This counts as two attacks when calculating your multiple attack penalty. If this Strike hits, you deal one extra die of positive damage, with the same die size as the weapon or unarmed attack you used. Any further Strikes you make against the same creature before the start of your next turn using the same weapon or unarmed attack deal extra positive damage equal to the number of weapon dice. As normal, the positive damage harms only undead and creatures with negative healing.

Day 4 9:00am

Ginni smashes the corrupted psychopomp with her force weapon. Then Hoog and Dom finish it off. Now that creatures are dead, the group can look around the room. The shelves in this room are filled with jars of spoiled food, moldy storage bags, crates that now only hold dust. The room was once the cellar for the manor. Nothing of interest can be found in this room.

The stairs at the other end of the room connect the basement to the kitchen.
