Day 4 9:10am

The air of this sprawling cavern is cold, moist, and glowing;soft, green light emanates from no discernible source. Moisture glistens on the walls and floor, and much of the cavern’s central portion is taken up by a wide but shallow pool of water in which the bones of what seems like over a dozen humans have been strewn.

Dom takes in the strange lake and frowns as he sees the bones. He thinks he saw an exit heading north on the other side of the lake and he mentions it to the others

"It seems the cavern continues north, see over there? Let us make our way around the edge of the lake. I don't want to get wet if I can help it."

He moves around the lake, his eyes glancing up to the ceiling of the caven and into the lake itself, wary of ambush. Knowing this place there could be giant bats or strange lake monsters eager to attack!

Hoog grunts as he eyes the foreboding waters. He hefts us his shield, and beings making his way around the circumference of the lake, keeping as close to the wall as he can.

 

OocThat's assuming that area in the NE is actually an exit and not just a little alcove created by the shape and lighting

Galgalion noted the cautious actions of the others but couldn't resist the opportunity to investigate the bundle of bones. Collected as they were they had probably been dumped there by someone of murderous intent. Xarwin himself perhaps?

The elf moved over to the bones intent on seeing if there were any hints or clues amongst them.

"Not ominous at all," Paim said to no-one in particular as she followed Hoog and Dom, ready to unleash hell should there be a need. Although her headache was still there, she knew they had to continue to investigate.

Day 4 9:11am

Dom and Hoog begin to move into the cavern while Gal moves closer to the water. Without getting into the water to more closely exam the bones, it is hard to observe any signficant details about them. However, he is able to tell that none of these bones look like recent kills. All of them have probably been in the water for decades. They could easily come from Xarwin's time.

Everyone notices that the water in the middle of this underground pool bigs to churn. Something is happening below the surface of it. You have a few moments to act before something happens.

Dom nodded to Hoog, he didn't like the idea of bunching up, but he knew Hoogs protective powers were potent indeed.

"Even the water here is against us! What an unholy place."

He kept his hand free, ready to unleash a blast of electrical damage if some creature should form from the water! He lifts his shield defensively.

Out of the water rises a mass of bones. Skeletons of humans, elves, and every other humanoid are intertwined to large mass of bones. This blob of bones finishing congealing, and then it slogs forward.
