  1. Jessica reaches out and places her hands flat on the table for more stability. “What was that? I understand this isn’t a ‘normal’ place, but that felt strange even for a abnormal location. Are we about to scattered across the multiverse? Or just get discorporated from massive amounts of energy? What would you even -do- about that? It’s not like you can just hide under a table, that won’t help at all. Well, it could make you feel better, but that makes no sense because it won’t help…” She reaches for the ‘goblet’ of wine, and drinks quite a bit. Maybe it’ll even help.
  2. “Home to an evil cult. There’s a pit, and a deadly animated statue.” Iodás advances, and shifts his halberd into two hands.
  3. “If by ‘friend’ you mean ‘addict who sells other addicts to the blood cult’, then yeah, we get along great. Makes you wonder, what do they -do- with all this blood? Are they storing it in barrels?” Iodás advances, and shifts his halberd into two hands.
  4. Grr, you’re right. 1/1 in two classes would usually be better than level 2 in a single class.
  5. What if I want to be a barbarian who is great at climbing? Would it break anything to dip out for a level?
  6. Off to a great start. Offical moderator comments: 1) Since you’re a goliath, please indicate the sizes of your weapons. That’s the price for a large MW greataxe, but we want to be crystal clear. 2) To make life easier for the judges, can you either provide a link to Tome of Battle (if that’s allowed), or a quick description of your strikes and maneuvers. We don’t need everything, just a hint, like ‘Mountain hammer: bypass DR’. Not all GMs know that book well. 3) What do those flaws do? Unofficial 2cp: I like when the picture is also on the character sheet. ; )
  7. I vote to give the ring to Zalven as well. Between silence and invisibility, he’s got some very reliable stealth. Does multiclassing exist in this game?
  8. Iodás walks up at an unhurried pace, halberd over one shoulder. “I’m not in the mood to argue. Run or die, it’s all the same to me.”
  9. It’s what you get when D&D is created by nerdy wargamers. These are people who discuss whether or not an Italian tercio formation could have dealt with Japanese samurai,

  12. When you entered, Brother Didimus nods his head, and then explains: “You are welcome within our Abbey, your Majesty. As are you, sir, but your animal is not. It will be safe if it stays within the grounds.”
  13. The Abbey of the Valorous Knight is a strong-looking building, surrounded by high walls with white flags flying atop the ramparts. The pale moonlight seems to glow off the stones and the sense of strength and purity is almost overwhelming. As you approach the main gate, a solitary priest dressed in shining armor and a white surcoat approaches you. (Brother Sidanus and the other monks are clearly known to him, and they carry their brother inside.) “Greetings, I am Brother Didimus. What is your business at our Abbey?” Brother Didimus leads you through the monastery. The building’s structure is very similar to that of a military complex. Finally coming upon a solid oak door inlaid with a silver lightning bolt striking through a crossed axe and longsword. The brother slams his hand on the doorframe hard three times, and awaits a response. A muffled “Yes, come in brother” sounds from the other side, and Didimus opens the door to the Abbot’s study. Abbot Valentin is seated behind a large desk with a handful of papers in front of him. “Ahh, these are the warriors who found poor Brother Orden, eh? What can you tell me of this event?”
