Eric Posted February 24 Author Clone Share Posted February 24 Thorkell enters the east bedroom to quite the scene: Golan has somehow scaled the walls, clinging to a bit of rocky outcropping and one of the posts of the tattered bed. The reason why is almost right below him: two fleshy, foul-smelling walking corpses are shambling in through the door in the southeast corner, while another lurks in the shadowed hallway just beyond. The creatures make indistinct squelchy noises as they lurch toward the party, seeming to have no comprehension of the roguish boy's presence above them. ⚠️ENCOUNTER The creatures are slow-moving and the PCs may choose how to react to the situation. How on earth he got up there, and what on earth he was doing there alone, before the rest of the company arrived, is well beyond him. The answer may be simple though: he ran into trouble, and they've arrived in the nick of time to rescue him! When Aurora signals the attack, he is ready with sword and torch. Within seconds the sounds of battle ring out, as axe, sword, and claw all fail to find purchase in the frenzy of combat. ⚠️ENCOUNTER Misses all around. Golan has space to drop in behind the lead two zombies, but the third would have him in a pincer.
