Why don't you take the lead and Karadoon will be nearby. If you think we can get close enough to listen in I can come up and see if I understand anything they say. Karadoon has some spelunking skills, so if we ever need to scout a cave, he can take up the front spot then. I could see two weeks in total refilling water, and potentially cleaning copper, but in a bigger picture we need to figure out her movements as well lest they overlap with some ne'er-do-wells. Re: Token: This could easily just be something handwritten - while the crew of the Fortune may not necessarily have your handwriting or signature memorized, the fact that it would bear one of your names would likely be enough, as there is no reason for the refugees to know it until now. Narratively, for this scene, I'm going to just say they failed their morale checks and are going to attempt to link up with the refugees and escort them home.
