And I'll be busy tonight so that proper update won't come until Sunday probably. Who's planning to go outside and talk? Who's trying to set up cover? Reading the barkeep's body language, you can tell he deals with this from time to time. He seems less worried for his health and more worried about his business being shot up. Wizard of the Coat Posted April 13 Clone Share Posted April 13 Nina is hoping to get enough info from the Viceroy (about the Vipers) to make an assessment as to whether talking would do any good. So it's hard for me to say with certainty if she'll want to talk or shoot. For now, I can say that She'd rather talk than shoot. But her assessment of the situation is similar to Shades--all indications suggest that the gang is not going to be influenced by words. If she does talk, it will be lies and deception to make them back off. For example, if they are part of Darga's organization, she might say something like "I'm the personal property of Darga the Hutt. These fine gentleman have helped me escape one of Darga's enemies, and are escorting me back to his home. If you make trouble with us, you make trouble with Darga." But deception is hard to pull off not knowing anything about the Vipers and their relationship, or lack thereof, with Darga. For example, if they turn out to be Darga's enemies and hear such a lie, they might decide they want to capture Nina and hold her hostage to gain advantage over Darga. If she gets intel (from the Viceroy) that gives her an angle with which to deceive the Vipers into leaving us alone (or possibly helping us), she'll go outside. It was obvious that the Viper chick wanted to talk to everyone btw as she pointed at every pc. All the "newcomers". Essex Posted April 13 Clone Share Posted April 13 Seeing as Zen was not singaled out he is definitely going to be providing cover. I think Remy has a Blaster and was also not pointed at? Zen would try to get Remy to assist. Maybe Tetra can sneak around and slip in close for melee? Tetra sneaking around behind is a good idea - if he can get the drop on one of them, he can take him off the swoop bike and limit their mobility. Despite being alone a lot of my time I almost never feel loneliness, but today is the one day that makes me feel so. Times like these make me feel unlovable. Anyway, my point with the Vipers was she essentially called all of you out. I think that would be obvious to your characters, but I perhaps failed to display that intent. Apologies. So it looks like: Jal, Nina, Shade walking outside the front door Tetra sneaking out a potential back entrance (there is one through the crowded kitchen [Athletics check for positioning/speed]) Remy, Zen taking up overwatch positions (from behind cover in a couple of booths/the bar?)
