After attaching it to his belt, he hands his crossbow and bolts to Luciana. “Wish me luck, I got a feeling about this.” He ties the free end of the rope around himself, and then begins the climb downward. Once down to the water he finds that it comes up to just above his waste. Below the surface is uneven with the collapsed boulders of what used to be a floor above. He hears a rippling of the water and all of a sudden a 15 foot long snake snaps out of the water at the warlock. Although caught off guard, Iodás is able to dive under the surface and the snake bashes it's snout against the wall right behind where the warlock was. The python, grey spiral patterned can be seen now, splashes about for another strike at the warlock. It rears back and pounces, but once again crashes amongst the sunken boulders in its mad assault on the Ixian. Up top, Luciana and Morrull banter back and forth, probably amused that yet another creature wants to take a bite out of Iodás. Magnus then joins Morrull securing the rope. It's quite tight in the ten foot wide space with four or five people crowding the ledge. The two sailors attempt to squeeze as much as they can against the sides to rain down missile fire. Muireach unfortunately narrowly misses the warlock but Zenobios buries a bolt into the back of the snakes neck. ---------------------------------------------- End of Round One ---------------------------------------- Declare Round 2 actions. Snake is "prone" and mostly underwater, but not completely. The cleric now holding the rope, Morrull hastily arms his bow and (if he can) takes a shot at the snake. OOC I figure killing the snake would allow Iodas to go to the succor of Muireach --- likely faster than trying to climb down. Oh, yeah. Dice bot gives Morrull the finger.
