Ryfte Posted September 14, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 14, 2023 Well, it turns out that if you don't speak the language... and the situation is delicate... there's really not a lot that you should do... so... Ash did that, heh. She's been the equivalent of a wallflower. I figure at least she's... 1. Visibly unarmed. 2. Small. So if nothing else she certainly doesn't look like a threat, in any way. That could mean that she'll be more of a curiosity interest for them. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
Inquisitor D Posted September 14, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 14, 2023 ... I shouldn't have pulled the not a dragon card so soon. Nova holding Ash up as a dragon here to save people... ... that actually gives me an idea... ^^ Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
foltor Posted September 14, 2023 Author Clone Share Posted September 14, 2023 Can I get a quick survey of everyone's character's 'nationality' and religious leaning? I know Vega's Taskan, Nova's pseudo-Aralean and follows the Geodic Path, Circe and Crastug are Granarctian, Ash is from the Elme 'Haraz area. Starhawk Posted September 14, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 14, 2023 Circe is Granartican, is a sacred circle worshipper. She grew up in a place like this. She was offered two choices by her upbringing.. submit to tyranny or fight against tyranny. She refused the choice she was given and joined the dragoons. Madadh Posted September 14, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 14, 2023 Tethyr is Taskan, and likely not strongly religious in either direction. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
The Eyeball Kid Posted September 14, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 14, 2023 Crastug is from Amidon in Granarctia. He probably pays lip service to the Sacred Circle but isn't terribly interested in religion except where knowledge of it can help him solve a mystery. Rakle Posted September 14, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 14, 2023 Vega mostly identifies with Olea. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
foltor Posted September 15, 2023 Author Clone Share Posted September 15, 2023 I'd like to move on from this location, both because there's really not much more to learn here, and to give our non-Granarctian-speakers more ways to participate. What we know so far: in the fall, the people of Zybunny close up the outlying farmhouses and move in to the village for the winter toward the beginning of winter, a Dwarf and a Gnome with a tattoo passed through Terast is a trapper who lives alone outside the village who first noticed the bear and reported it to Primor the bear has been breaking into empty farmhouses, making a mess, and leaving other than its behavior, it seems like a pretty normal grizzly bear Is there anything else you think may be relevant or want to follow up on? Starhawk Posted September 15, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 15, 2023 Happy to leave the schmoozing behind and get started since 'the game's afoot'. :) Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
Inquisitor D Posted September 15, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 15, 2023 Nova's main priority is to check the houses, see if there's anything we can work out from investigating them. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls
The Eyeball Kid Posted September 15, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 15, 2023 Depending on the answer to his last question, Crastug might want to have a look at one of the houses that hasn't been hit yet, but having a look at the ransacked houses does seem like a good next step. omegoku Posted September 15, 2023 Clone Share Posted September 15, 2023 Eireann is ready to move. He would be happy to follow along to one of the houses, or go visit the trapper. Name xDiceName xDiceResult xDiceString xDiceRolls

foltor Posted September 19, 2023 Author Clone Share Posted September 19, 2023 Terast is equally fluent in Common as Granarctian, so there's no need/advantage to addressing him in Granarctian.
