Ce'luna smiles to herself. At least my spells work.

She grabs her bow in hand as she moves into position inside the room for a clear shot, letting loose a razor sharp arrow on the shaman even as her wolf pup closes on him, jaws snapping at his neck.

Crescenda hears the explosion of power set loose by their priest and seizes on the opportunity provided: she rushes in, skips through the frontliners, spends a second glancing where a target might be found and sends a bolt hurtling at the one enemy standing in easy sights.... But her aim is entirely off, much to Crescenda's annoyance.

Seizing the opportunity now that those infernal infernoed skeletons are out of the way, Fable dances through her companions, past the full-fledged mage, and into a position in which to fire at that gods-forsaken goblin priest.

Language: Goblin

"Catch."

A bolt is fired as she taunts him in her debased form of Goblin that she knows.

Father Wilwick Bramblemane, Halfling Cleric

spacer.pngQUICK STATS:  AC=17, Touch=12, FF=17 / HP=13/13 / Init=0 / Saves: Fort=6, Reflex=2, Will = 7  ________________________________________________________________________

When the skeletons dissolve under the intensity of Father Bramblemane's channeling of divine power directly from the gods, it provides the opening that the holy man was silently praying would arise.

Weaving to and fro as the cuts in and out around his colleagues moving with unnatural speed, Wilwick positions himself across the room to have a clear line of sight on the foul cleric.

Spinning his loaded sling in a blurring circle, the diminutive holy man launches a tiny nearly invisible lead bullet at the unholy priest which crosses the room like an angry insect, "Ziiipth!"

Smiling as the shot strikes his evil counterpart up side the head, the Halfling preacher looks around to the sides and behind him as he reloads his sling, trusting his friends to cover his front flank while Wilwick keeps his eyes and ears focused on his immediate surroundings.

Fable nicks the cleric with her crossbow. Not able to see Wilwick around the corner, he scream in rage as his skeleton guards explode into dust. "What weak servant of a weak god has defiled my guards?" He begins weaving a spell, and suddenly he vanishes! Celuna's wolf friend pops back to his plane of existence.

OOC

DC 20 Spot or DC 21 Listen check to discern location of Nambrakh. If you pinpoint his location, attacks will suffer a 50% miss chance.

@Terran If you will look closely would will see Wilwick is firing his sling at a curtain! You can keep the roll if you can pinpoint the guy's location and get a clear shot.

Fable curses softly. "Oh, [REDACTED]." Finagling a pinch of powder from the pouch at her waist while still keeping her cross bow bolt in-hand, she utters a quick warning to her companions. "Stand back, everyone..."

With an arcane word, she flings the powder directly in front of herself... and a vivid cone of clashing colors springs forth!

Ce'luna gasps quietly when the goblin vanishes into thin air before their very eyes. That's a neat trick, she says as she squints her eyes, searching for any sign of him.

There! Listen, she points her bow in the direction of where her keen elven ears pick up the faint scrape of the gobbo's boot on the cavern floor. I can hear his black heart beating.

She lets loose her arrow at the sound, even as Fable releases her own spell, and then calls out a word of command to her furry friend Blakesly, who moves forward, sniffing for the missing goblin.

Father Wilwick Bramblemane, Halfling Cleric

spacer.pngQUICK STATS:  AC=17, Touch=12, FF=17 / HP=13/13 / Init=0 / Saves: Fort=6, Reflex=2, Will = 7  ________________________________________________________________________

When the foul cleric suddenly disappears right into thin air, either by trick, illusion, teleportation or something even more worrisome, Father Bramblemane drops his empty sling to the ground in the space behind him which, granted, was really not that far to fall given his height!

Nonetheless, time was of the essence as the holy man speaks out while simultaneously removing his pack from his shoulders saying, "I have honey, lard and flour which might be used to find the enemy if he is only invisible, either by coating his frame or following footsteps in the flour dust."

Reaching into the old leather backpack, Wilwick pulls out his cooking kit and holds out the aforementioned goods saying, "Here, take and use these items right away before the foe can get away, assuming that the foul cleric is in fact still here. Of course, we ain't getting no sweet biscuits for dinner then!"

Holding his pack as an impromptu weapon, the diminutive Halfling Priest takes a singles step to help block any access to the alter in the room to prevent the ceremony from being completed, and then the Domain Priest takes a defensive stance while his colleagues attempt to track the enemy minister, as he watches and listens for any clue thereto.

Mechanics

Swift Action:

Free Action: Speak and Drop Sling

Move Action: Open Pack

Move: 5-foot step back into corner

Standard Action: Draw Goods out of Pack and Hold out to Others (Honey, Lard, Flour)

Continuing Effects:  None

The crew gets into position as Fable blasts a spell in the direction of their foe. As he remains invisible, it's hard to know if the spell worked. You breathe for just a moment before he suddenly reappears in a different location, chanting another prayer and pointing his finger at Wilwick. Wilwick feels an evil spell descending on his form!

Father Wilwick Bramblemane, Halfling Cleric

spacer.pngQUICK STATS:  AC=17-2, Touch=12, FF=17 / HP=13/13 / Init=0 / Saves: Fort=6, Reflex=2, Will = 7  ________________________________________________________________________

Father Bramblemane is slightly caught off guard when the enemy Cleric suddenly appears across the room from him, possibly flushed out by the color spray illusion, and then the foe gives Wilwick the 'evil eye' attempting to hold him fast in his tracks!

Nonetheless, the holy man's faith is much larger than his diminutive frame would indicate allowing Wilwick to immediately shake off the foul caster's efforts to control his body and violate his soul with his corrupting black magic as good triumphs over evil yet again.

Enraged by the offense, Father Bramblemane lets out a high-pitched guttural battle cry, "Ayyyyyrrrrrrrrrrg," as the tiny priest drops the baking supplies in his arms and charges his evil counterpart, drawing a wicked looking morning star as he easily flashes across the room in the literal blink of an eye and slams the spiked mace deep into the flesh of the enemy!

Mechanics

Swift Action:

Free Action: Drop Baking Goods and Draw Morning Star as part of a move action

Move Action:

Move:  Up to 80 feet (15 feet covered in the flash of an eye)

Standard Action:

Full Round Action: Charge Attack on Evil Cleric
