The creatures' rumblings is enough to jog Henry from his slumber. He scrambles out of his bedroll and to his feet, calling into the fading twilight. "We've got company..!"

 

He ducks behind the cart and fades from sight, trying to identify the approaching threat from a position of relative safety.

Austin wakes with a start at the sudden sounds. Hearing Henry's declaration, she moves fairly quickly. Normally, she would enjoy slowly waking her bed partner, but this will have to wait for another time.

"Nemyl hun, time to get some clothes on. We have unwanted guests!"

Austin throws her robe on before heading out of the tent.

Willorn is awoken by the sounds of everyone else waking up and scrambling out of bed, Nemyl hastily dresses and heads outside to see the err elementals moving to their position.

A warm glow flew from the pages, imbuing each of his companions with a small boon to aid them in this fight. He then placed himself strategically to the back of the camp, knowing that some of his companions would far better in the front lines than himself.

OOC: Williorn casts aid, mass on the party, then retreats southward to put distance between himself and the monsters. Everyone gains a +1 morale bonus to attack rolls and saves against fear, as well as 1d8+7 temporary hit points.
