Keshka carefully navigated over to the red-haired woman. "Miss, I believe you have another patron to see to. And my friend has an early morning planned. We do appreciate your honesty." She made sure Vri knew their plans and then finally left the casino. "Now you see why I was worried when the Wheel was favoring me. Nothing good comes from luck in a casino." She made sure that everyone she had entered with was out and then headed for the Temple.

Torch — Outside Silverdisk Hall

As you each make your way out of Torch's "illustrious tavern and card room", whether by choice or by force, the atmosphere of the place seems little changed by your departure, the gambling hall maintains its exterior façade of luxury and decadence, as though all is business is usual.

 

Outside, though the sun looks to be rapidly progressing towards the horizon, there may still be an hour or two of lingering sunset left.

 

spacer.pngTaking the cue to return to her post at the outside of the door, the female bouncer gives Barhuce an under-the-wraps fist bump as he gets escorted out, and waits till the other guard disappears back inside before saying, "Kudos to you for taking it cool, dude. Some of my colleagues get a little uppity sometimes."

 

Turning back to T'Sarra after letting another prospective patron inside, she says, "I'm done in an hour if you got nothing else going on."

 

As the door swings open and shut again, you vaguely see the silhouette of the guard and the Fortuna dealer engaging in some kind of argument, the details of which are lost to the background of noises inside the establishment.

Keshka was halfway home when she remembered the eels, quickly doubling back and going to to pick up the eels. She knocked on the door of the workshop space hoping to catch Matuq before he went to bed. "Sorry, I know it is late. But you said to come back and if it is useful tomorrow..." She trailed off awkwardly.

Torch

Having each made different plans for the evening, the group goes their separate ways after their graceful exit from the Silverdisk Hall. Barhuce and Vri head back to the Foundry Tavern after a sly piece of advice to the tiefling, who takes some time to enjoy the late afternoon sun at Crowfeather Lake. Keshka to her quarters at the Temple of Brigh, having forgotten all about the worm carcasses until she was half way home.

 

Doubling back to the Foundry Tavern, Keshka finds the half-orc hard at work along with Barhuce. Surprisingly, the two young women seem also be plugging away at something, now that they seem to have recovered from their earlier alcoholic binge.

Inside each is a foully bitter smelling ointment with a rich reddish-brown colour. "Yo, you best got some fat ass bacon you wanna cure wit' dis stuff, 'na'm sayin'?"

After heading back to the inn, Vri decided to take things slow that evening. There had been more than enough excitement today, so she would help getting something to eat on the table and then take an early night. Any shopping she would do the next morning, before heading back to the caves.

Torch — Foundry Tavern

"spacer.pngBarhuce! I need that hartshoen and saltpetre spirit!" Val had been hovering over some alchemy crafting equipment, her hand suddenly thrusted sideways and backwards without breaking her concentration otherwise. Looks like she's in some critical step, with the android Violet shaking some glass vial beside her.

 

The momentary anxiety in the air is cleared when Barhuce comes through with the reactants, and the process continues smoothly.
