Crescenda can't quite catch the little pot of lard as it falls to the ground, though it fortunately doesn't break when it hits the floor. Gwen whacks the cleric with her sword, dealing a solid blow to his arm. Camlann's swing glances off his armor. Celuna misses. Wilwick swings and connects with his shin. Grimaces and swings wildly at Wilwick with his mace. Connecting with Wilwick's chest, he deals 5 Damage. He cackles in maniacal glee at the chance to hurt a cleric of a goodly god.

"Hooray, the lard is intact," Crescenda cheers to herself and takes care in recovering the dropped goods. While she kneels down she does look at where the holy halfling is committing some violence and nods her head at the general state of things.

Father Wilwick Bramblemane, Halfling Cleric

spacer.pngQUICK STATS:  AC=17, Touch=12, FF=17 / HP= 8/13 / Init=0 / Saves: Fort=6, Reflex=2, Will = 7  ________________________________________________________________________

Momentarily smiling when Crescenda announces that she has saved the lard for making biscuits, nonetheless the grin is wiped from Wilwick's tiny face when the much larger evil cleric smashes the Halfling Priest directly in the chest with his weapon temporarily knocking a bit of the wind out of the holy man's sails.

Shaking off the fairly massive blow, Father Bramblemane scowls as he presses the battle even further by moving into a position directly across from Camlann and once again bringing his vicious-looking morning star to bear upon the opposing priest, which repositioning also opens up the enemy to additional attacks by Wilwick's colleagues.

The chamber appears to be octagonal and walled with worked red stone. Strips of gauzy cloth that look like bandages hang from rows of iron reels on the ceiling, draping to the floor in places. There are burnished copper doors on the west wall. On the north wall is an arched opening carved to look like the maw of a fanged demon. There is a black altar on the east wall. On the altar there are six black candles lit before a crude clay goblinoid idol. There is a little pile of coins, jewels, a scroll and a crate of spices before the altar, offerings to the evil god. Beside the altar is a statue shattered to pieces.

Father Wilwick Bramblemane, Halfling Cleric

spacer.pngQUICK STATS:  AC=17, Touch=12, FF=17 / HP= 13/13 / Init=0 / Saves: Fort=6, Reflex=2, Will = 7  ________________________________________________________________________

When the foul cleric falls to the repeated blows of the party, Brother Bramblemane slightly smiles as he allows his boiling blood to cool with the demise of their enemy, especially relieved that the group was able to interrupt the priest's corrupted ceremony to an evil goblinoid god.

After cleaning and stowing his weapon and retrieving his sling, the diminutive Priest draws a twisted willow wand which he uses to touch himself and heal his wounds from the battle with the unholy priest of evil before asking, "Is anyone else injured?"

After completing the healing, the padre stows his wand and then moves over near the alter of the evil deity and uses his experience and training to try and identify the details of the god, the ceremony's purpose, as well as the religious paraphernalia lying upon the alter.

After he learns 'all' he can of the nature of the black divine arts being practiced in this foul hellhole of a chapel, Willwick notices the pieces of a shattered statue next to the alter which broken clues the tiny minister attempts to decipher while his colleagues attend to the dead and search the room for hidden things and valuable objects.

Camlann Cobb

Camlann picks up the dead cleric's mace and swings it about in a carefully controlled pattern.

"A bit heavier and far less elegant than my warhammer, but nicely balanced all the same. Would you be interested in this, Gwen? If not, I wouldn't mind keeping it for myself for now," he says.
