So, in my opinion, I highly recommend putting it down in the valley or in a clearing of sorts where it might look for food. Then again, I am a tried and true old-school geek, not a trapper so there is that... What does everyone else think?

I'm thinking in a clearing, where it could spot prey from a ways off as it flies. I don't have a strong opinion for farther up the slope or not.

Kildrak has horrible stats in terms of stealth. Unless he removes his armor and shield, he's gonna stick out like a sore thumb. Should he just keep a distance away from the trap site, so he doesn't spoil things for everyone?

I'd say stick back with the mage and the firey ones while the more "natural" looking ones goes and sets up the traps. The one that can fly at-will should and maybe keep a look out while at it.

Remember folks: If you haven't used the stick of Divine Insight rune yet, that is an extra +8 to a survival check. Unless my post never got read and we never made it that far....

 

Also, if I knew we were going into doing something like this, I would have memorized a mage hand spell..... Anyways, one Knowledge (Architecture and Engineering) check coming right up once the trap is set!

The only thing Kildrak can really help with here is if we do an automated trap. Otherwise he will keep his shiny plate-covered butt well out of the phoera's sight!

Can we use HooGrawr's previously rolled 28 for the hide check for manually springing the trap if it becomes necessary?

And have Ez do the survival check using the rune token thing?

And does anyone have Craft (trapmaking) as a skill? I sure don’t.
 

Would trapfinding work? It lets you disable traps, and reset them…?

I don't remember offhand if we used survival or if our employer brought the trap. I think the employer brought it.

I don't have Craft as a skill, but Kildrak does have a +2 to Intelligence. Warblade, yo!

I do not have anything in that field either, it would seem like we all have applied for a game with characters that do not possess the needed skills to carry out the tasks needed lol.
