((Intersection AB/AC 9&10. That should open a pathway soon even with as crappy a throw that was. And yes, it is designed to burn away the web. He threw it with that calculation in mind hoping to do just enough damage to burn it away while doing minimal damage to us))

Chase Scene

The Party

Gregory tosses a flask to jumpstart the burning process on the web spell, and a wide path of webbing burns away, opening a path (almost).

HooGrawr rushes to catch up with the party at the wagon (AB15 is in the area of effect for the web spell, so you'll need Str or Escape Artist to move through the last little bit of area at half speed).

Gothika hurls a ball of frosty magic at Dshalvur, hitting him square in the face. He gasps in anger, and the look on his face goes almost feral. "No!" he shouts, "I won't let you take that phoera! I will stop you!"

Kildrak readies himself for the next round of fighting.

Talissa & Wagon

Talissa grabs the reins and tries to coax the fire horse forward. "Come on, Chee! Let's pull this wagon free!"

Chase Scene

Can't edit my post now, so I'm posting again.

Everyone except Gothika is currently in the web spell (though HooGrawr can still choose not to dive into it). Ez, Kildrak and Gregory are entangled, but you're not immobilized. However, your movement is impeded: you have to roll Str or Esc Art to move, and you get only 5 feet of movement for every 5 points by which your check beats DC 10.

The web is burning now from Gregory's alchemist fire, but the environmental fires won't help out this round: they'll start burning the web away next round.

Talissa & Wagon (cont'd)

The firehorse pulls as hard as she can, and she manages to drag the uncooperative wagon 5 feet forward.

The nice thing about being a trained archer was that he didn’t -have- to move. Volley fire was also a legitimate tactic, even if he didn’t use it as often.

Chase Scene

Ez

Ez takes his shots. Unfortunately, due to the webbing (which grants cover and imposes penalties on your shots), his arrows do not find their mark.

Dshalvur

"I know how to stop your escapades," Dshalvur says menacingly as he steps into the gap left behind as Gregory's fire burns away the webbing. He reaches his hands out to grab at the fire horse.

Touch 1 (atk; cold dmg)

Touch 2 (atk; cold dmg)

He seizes hold of Chee's neck as she tries to continue pulling forward. The horse bellows in pain as cold energy sears into her, and she rears back and slumps over. The whole wagon rocks and tilts a little, but the webbing holds it fast, preventing the wagon from tipping over.

Talissa's Ride Check (check; dmg if she fails)

Talissa is pitched from the back of the horse as it falls dead, and her head slams against the tongue of the wagon, knocking her unconscious.

(Chee unfortunately has died (-10 hp). Talissa is at -2 hp, so not technically dead yet. It looks like you'll have to just stand and fight Dshalvur now. But, the fire is starting to catch on the webbing, so it might burn free in a couple rounds.

Chase Scene

The Party

Gregory casts a protective spell in preparation.

HooGrawr rushes around the web and surprises Dshalvur with a claw. His body is icy cold to the touch, dealing cold damage to HooGrawr on contact:

Frostfire Shield (cold damage)

((Note: Dshalvur would have gained 5 temp hp after draining the horse, so you only did 3 permanent damage, but that does not mean he has DR or anything.))

Gothika takes a couple shots from her bow, but the web interferes, making them both miss.

Kildrak is able to power his way forward through the webbing, stepping off the wagon to stand over Talissa's prone form and face Dshalvur in melee.

Talissa & Co.

Talissa Stabilization (stabilizes on 10)

The phoera is becoming quite agitated again, and it breathes out another gout of flame.

Fire Breath (Ref DC 12 for half)

The fire breath burns away a significant chunk of the web, and actually frees Gregory.

Ez mentally resigned himself to the shots he had, and not the shots he would have preferred. He wondered if flaming arrows would slice neatly through webs, but that’s assuming you had a clear view of the target.

One of Ez's arrows slips through the webbing and stabs Dshalvur in the chest.

Dshalvur

Dshalvur is looking wounded, and he seems to be going a little delirious. "Stay out of this, you insignificant little weaklings!" he growls, "Just give me the phoera, and you won' t all have to die!"

He reaches down and attempts to grab HooGrawr by the throat while swinging his other arm in Kildrak's direction:
