Expedition to Undermountain 2
No one knows what lurks in the depths of the mad archmage’s halls . . . But you’re about to find out.
Day, night, I can no longer tell. Gargoyles carried off the wizard while we were roping our way down Belkram’s Fall. Evendur the paladin fell beneath the axe of a blood-maddened minotaur two rests later, then Ironhewer stumbled into a magical portal and vanished screaming. We dared not follow him. It is said that these halls hide treasure beyond imagining, but even if we found Halaster’s hoard in the next chamber, we are so hopelessly lost that I doubt I would live to spend a copper of it.
- - -Congratulations, friend.
You are one of the six souls who dare.
But wait!
What exactly is it that you dare?
You dare challenge Undermountain.
Will it be you and your companions who triumph?
Or will it be the home of horror and monsters?
Let's find out.

Disney Verse Adventures
Greetings Friends Welcome to the Disney Verse, where all the stories of the Disney kingdoms have been gathered and compiled into one world of existence. The world itself is stable, and the kingdoms are at peace after dealing with their villains and other troublemaking things but like all stories just because one book finishes with a 'happy' ending doesn't mean that's the end. The kingdoms continue to exist and through various envoys and ambassadors, the various kingdoms trade knowledge and other resources with each other so that all flourish, and every so often a collaboration of kingdoms results in big projects, academies of magic and knowledge, military camps for training the next generation of heroes for combat and even guilds for people to learn and practice various professions but for all this to exist there has to be something else in existence and that is the villains and their land of darkness
One thing certain people of this world have discovered is that this world has a system of magic in play that even if someone 'dies' their existence doesn't end and they are for the most part revived. This includes the various villains and other troublemakers but instead of being allowed to roam the kingdoms they caused trouble in, the villains are 'banished' to their own kingdom, the land of darkness, a sort of land of villainy that exists to balance out the various kingdoms of light and good and for the most part that even that dark land is quiet. Sure anyone who visits there has to watch their back for a thug itching for a fight or a thief just practicing their pickpocket skills but those who live in that dark land have come to a consensus, It could be a lot worse. Here they have the freedom to exist how they choose not held back by morals or social rank but can live by their own will and strength and they can respect one another for their strength. Magic sustains the land and allows people to exist without too much hardship and peace is maintained because of respect for one another. However, despite these claims of peace, One can't be too careful when dealing with a villain.
You are a resident of this world and have a dream to make a name for yourself like some of the greats both hero and villain who have come before you but one must always heed this warning, What goes around comes around.~~~

Starfinder 2e Playtest: A Cosmic Birthday
With the release of the Starfinder 2nd edition Playtest, I've decided to run the playtest adventure for folks so we can try out this latest edition of the Starfinder ruleset. The playtest rules are free on Paizo's website, and are using the PF 2e system as a base. I'll have the game open for applications for three weeks time, after which I'll see how many groups I'll be willing to run this adventure for. Now for the hook for our playtest Adventure, run from levels 1-3, a Cosmic Birthday-
A nascent cosmic entity stirs deep within one of the Pact Worlds planets. To aid the god’s birth, its most devoted followers search the Ghost Levels of Absalom Station for a sufficient power source—a strange pocket dimension existing alongside the hub of the Pact Worlds. As the entity’s emergence sends ripples across space time, a group of heroes becomes trapped in the Ghost Levels! With dangerous creatures and ominous power surges threatening the station, the heroes must team up with the residents of Little Akiton to investigate these horrifying new foes, stop their meddling—and stay alive!

Pokemon Marches
Journal of Professor Bluegum
Entry 1: The Call of the Wild
Date: July 1st, 2024
Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life. The unexplored region west of Crimsonbloom Town beckons with the promise of discovery and adventure. My desire to explore this wild frontier and document every Pokémon that inhabits it is insatiable. I have spent countless hours preparing for this journey, and now, the day has finally come. I am eager to embark on this expedition, armed with my research tools, boundless curiosity, and a heart full of excitement.
Why do I feel such a strong pull towards this region? It started years ago when I first heard tales of strange and unique Pokémon sightings from wandering trainers. Stories of Pokémon with abilities unseen in other regions, of habitats untouched by modern development, and of an ecosystem that thrives in harmony and mystery. These tales sparked a flame within me, a burning need to uncover the truth and share it with the world.
Moreover, as a Pokémon researcher, I am driven by the desire to understand Pokémon in their natural habitats. This region, being so remote and untouched, offers a unique opportunity to observe Pokémon behaviors and interactions that have not been influenced by human presence. The potential for discovering new species, rare evolutionary forms, and unknown abilities is immense. I believe that studying this region will not only expand our understanding of Pokémon biology but also contribute to conservation efforts by highlighting the importance of preserving their natural habitats.
Additionally, I am motivated by a personal connection to this region. My grandfather, an explorer in his own right, once ventured into these lands and returned with fascinating stories and sketches. Unfortunately, his journey was cut short, and he never had the chance to fully explore the area. I feel a deep sense of duty to continue his work and honor his legacy by uncovering the secrets he was unable to reveal.
With these motivations in mind, I set forth with a sense of purpose and determination. The wilds west of Crimsonbloom Town hold countless mysteries, and I am ready to uncover them, one step at a time.
Entry 2: Arrival in Crimsonbloom Town
Date: July 7th, 2024
I have arrived in Crimsonbloom Town! The journey from Orre was long, but the sight of this quaint town nestled at the edge of the wilderness has invigorated my spirit. The townspeople have welcomed me warmly, curious about my research and the prospects it brings. I can see the majestic eucalyptus trees swaying gently in the breeze, their leaves whispering tales of the unknown.
Tomorrow, I will begin my exploration of the town and start laying the groundwork for my research. I'm eager to see the building in person that I purchased for use as my lab. A pity the lab equipment will not be arriving until tomorrow. I am so eager to get started! At least I have my notebook. Perhaps I will be able to learn from the locals in town and their experiences.
Entry 3: First Impressions
Date: July 10th, 2024
Crimsonbloom Town is a charming place, full of character and kind-hearted people. I have visited the local shops, each with its unique offerings. The Poké Mart is not exactly well-stocked with supplies, but considering that this is the frontier border I suppose its as good as can be expected. The fruit shop has an assortment of local berries and tasty treats for humans and pokemon alike, and the general store offers a few things that I was able to purchase for my first expedition. I have met several townspeople, including the knowledgeable Nurse Joy who works at the local hospital and the enthusiastic Lily Meadow that is running a Daycare and Adoption Agency for pokemon.
Tomorrow, I take my first step into the wilderness. The anticipation is almost unbearable. I have prepared thoroughly, but the unknown always carries an element of surprise. I am ready for whatever lies ahead. The sheer giddiness of anticipation has me feeling practically invincible.
Entry 4: A Setback and a New Plan
Date: July 15th, 2024
I am writing this entry from the town's hospital. My initial foray into the wilderness was met with unexpected challenges. An aggressive pack of wild Pokémon caught me off guard, resulting in a nasty injury. . While my academic achievements and research talents speak for themselves, there are apparently talents I do not possess that are required for field work. The nurse says I will make a full recovery, but it has become clear that I need help.
I have decided to hire explorers to venture into the wilderness for me. Their expertise and strength will allow us to cover more ground safely and efficiently. This setback is merely a reminder of the wild's untamed nature and the need for caution and collaboration. Hopefully I can find young trainers capable of pushing forward where I cannot.
Entry 5: Establishing the Base of Operations
Date: July 22nd, 2024
Despite my injury, progress continues. We have successfully set up several essential facilities in town. The Pokémon Center is fully operational, providing crucial medical care for both trainers and Pokémon, and Nurse Joy has agreed to operate the facility in addition to her work at the hospital. The research lab is equipped with the latest technology, ready to analyze our findings and foster new discoveries.
Today, I sent out advertisements for new trainers and explorers to join our cause. I have included that a starter pokemon and my newest pokedex will be given as advanced payment to whomever is selected to join me in my research. I will have to thank my collogue for providing me with the rare pokemon, which I am sure will help me secure capable applicants. Now, I wait for responses, hopeful that many will answer the call to adventure. Together, we will uncover the mysteries of this unexplored region and expand our knowledge of the Pokémon world.
I eagerly await the next steps in our journey. Each day brings us closer to understanding the wonders that lie beyond Crimsonbloom Town.

The Adventure Begins!
Premise
I have had my eye on Castles and Crusades for quite a while. I have not seen too many Ads for any games, and I have the itch to play, so I decided to start up a game. This game is meant to be a learning opportunity for me, as well as the players. This does not mean that veteran players are not welcome, but if you are experienced with C&C, be aware I am new to the system, and mistakes might be made.
If you are new to gaming, or just new to C&C, here's a chance to try it out.
Expectations
I am not intending this to be a long campaign. All I have planned is a prologue, a short "dungeon" (3-5 rooms), and an epilogue. That's it. If everyone enjoys themselves, I am open to continuing on. But that is a bridge we will cross when we come to it.

Dynasty: Endless Venture 49!!
The original Dynasty was a staple franchise of the 00's. It was a 3d MMO with Roguelike elements and procedural dungeons and a solid following. It went through several editions and major updates but the servers went offline in 2015. Things have been quiet for a while but rumors of a modern update have been swirling for the last couple of years.
Today you got your Willie Wonka Golden Ticket. You received a login code and link for a beta test for fans of the game. This is the final beta before wide release and is supposed to be free of gaming journos. The betas have been closely guarded and there have suspiciously been no leaks. People speculate that it's a bad game that they don't want it known before people start putting up money for it, but the videos released for the game have been beyond spectacular. While it's possible it's another Cyberpunk 2077, it doesn't matter because you're about to find out and for free. You have an interface to generate a character and a countdown clock for when the servers go live. The question is, what kind of Living Adventure are you going to have before the MMO gets flooded by the unwashed masses?

Ironfang Invasion
It's a 2e conversion of the Ironfang Invasion Adventure Path!
The Rules topic includes some houserules, common rule interpretations, and special PbP rules.
The Characters topic is where you can find specific character building rules, ask questions, and is where you should make your application threads.
The Codex topic contains maps, NPCs, and things you discover along the way. It will be filled in as we progress.
Make a character app and ask for review when you're ready. I plan to handle this game mainly through BLDR, with an OOC channel here and another on discord. I might try the google slides method or something to let you guys move your tokens and simplify map updates, or I might stick with my method of moving pawns around in gimp based on your posts.
Looking for players willing to commit to a game for the long term. I can usually post enough to keep up with the party. Sometimes that's multiple in a day, sometimes that's 1/week. It's really up to the party, but I prefer 3-5 DM posts/week of varying size.
Apps close on Feb 21, though I'll give a couple days after to get things finished up if needed while I make final selections. I'll probably go with a party of 5, or I may think about running two parties of 3-4. I'm contemplating keeping everyone in a common world, and streamlining some of the minor encounters by splitting them between parties. Not sure if that'll work with larger encounters though, and I'm open to discussion as we go. Could be fun to mix and match so the group can morph over time to fit post rates and personalities.

There will be plenty of room for Role-play as it suits the PBMB format..
We presently have a full party, any further applications will be put in as first reserves in case anyone drops out.

Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen
This is an Adventurer's League game.
Adventurer's League means that your characters used in this campaign will be transferable to other Adventurer's League games, may it be here in the forums, at conventions, or with your friends at home, provided you abide by Adventurer's League rules (which can be annoying because they keep changing faster than forum games play out) and keep a diligent record.
We are currently not looking for new players. The game will start as soon as six players apply. To join, declare your interest in the OOC forum. If you do not have a character, state the linneage/race, name, class, background, please do provide the character sheet within 24 hours. One slot will already be occupied by the player who requested this game, before it opens for everybody else.
While no background story is required for Adventurer's League characters, I do appreciate it. The game opens as the player characters travel to the funeral of a hero, mentor, and/or friend. It would be nice if you produced a connection.
For details on Adventurer's League, including character creation and migration of Forgotten Realms characters into the Krynn settings, see the Adventurer's League Games and specifically the extremely helpful compiled advice under Characters: Creation and Tracking. The plain rulebook on character creation
You will find more (optional) details on the game world in the "Krynn" section of this forum.
351 years since a cataclysm fell the continent of Ansalon in the world of Krynn.
351 years since the great nation of Istar was smashed along with its very bedrock, leaving only the Blood Sea in its wake.
351 years since Ergoth split in two.
351 years since the the population of all peoples died, save for a few miserable stragglers who refused to die.
351 years since the gods left without a sign.
The land was suddenly too vast for what few people remained, responsibility for the cataclysm was with people, except one's own, and it was safer to stick to one's own.
Over the recent decades, some semblance of civilisation managed to establish. Certain death never stopped the bold ones from trying to achieve the impossible, yet since recently songs of bards began to praise opportunity over lamenting what was lost and never to return. Despite all the suspicion, traders and adventurers from all peoples are welcome in the city of Kalaman at the Delta of the Vingaar River, the artery that runs throughout the kingdom of Solamnia.
Besides gold and pepper, the most valuable good traded here are rumours and opportunity.
Amongst these are our heroes, the ones around which this story will pivot. What units them is the last honour to those that came before, as they all receive identical messages.

Band of Blades - My arm, my blade, my family
I've always wanted to play this game. You play as members of the Legion who have signed up to fight against the Cinder King. You have fought in all sorts of wars for all sorts of people but the Legion has always endured.
After a lost battle, you're trying to make your way to Skydagger keep hoping to make it in time, with enough troops, to ensure that The Legion continues and the fight against the Cinder King isn't lost.
It's a Forged in the Dark game of military horror where you have a troupe style play. You'll take on the roles of the commanders of the Legion, deciding what missions you'll do, who will be sent on them, and what gear they'll take with them. You need to keep morale up in the face of constant death, fear, and danger.
You'll play your specialists, who all have their unique skill set. However, not every specialist will be sent out on missions so you'll also play the parts of privates and sergeants who make up the bulk of the Legion.
Pace: It's flexible but we're looking at like 2 posts per day when we're feeling good and 1 post per 1 to 2 days when we're not. I understand the ebb and flow of games.

Dungeons of Drakkenheim
Nearly 700 years ago, the realm of Westemar suddenly cloistered itself from the outside world. Impossibly high mountains erupted from the earth, a raging storm of ice and thunder began to swirl endlessly around the peaks, and anyone foolish enough to find a way through was met only with an early end. The people of the outside world were suddenly cut off from the mighty civilization and the arcane magic that it once allowed to flow freely. Millions perished in the resulting famines, wars, and pestilence they were suddenly unable to contend with. But they endured, and soon rebuilt without the aid of the magic, though never reaching their own former glory.
Then suddenly, the endless storm dissipated and pockets of the ranges receded back into the earth, bridging the Westemar and the it's arcane knowledge to the rest of the world once again. In time, Westemar and the other realms managed to strike an accord of mutual benefit and a new age of prosperity began on the continent, with the city of Drakkenheim as the centerpiece of commerce, knowledge and the arts.
That was before the purple fire rained down from the heavens and destroyed the mighty metropolis in a torrent of destruction, leaving behind a thick mist known as the Haze, weird crystals densely infused with arcane energies, and inhabitants that hardly resemble the bodies they were born with.
You have taken up a contract to escort someone to the town of Emberflame Village, and help them set up a base of operations. To what end, you didn't ask, for each of you have your own reasons to head to the village and try your luck at unlocking the mysteries of Drakkenheim. The journey to Emberflame is arduous but well traveled, though not entirely safe since the realm was thrown into chaos.

Ghost of Saltmarsh
So I will be starting us off in the Ghost of Saltmarsh module. Starting at Level 3 and will continue on up.
This will be my first time DMing for 5E so there will surely be some learning curve involved. I have DMed quite a bit in 3.5 though heavily homebrewed. I am hoping we can tell a great story together. I have access to most core 5E sources and a few setting books as well.
I have the following books if there is a question on if I have access to something you want to use for game:
List of Sources
Dungeon Masters Guide
Players Handbook
Monsters Manual
Wanderer's Guide to Merchants and Magic
Bigby Presents Glory of the Giants
Eberron: Rising from the Last War
Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount
Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons
Ghosts of Saltmarsh
Guildmaster’s Guide to Ravnica
Humblewood Campaign Setting
Mordenkainen Present’s Monsters of the Multiverse
Mordenkainen Tome of Foes
Mythic Odyssey’s of Theros
Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen

Strixhaven a Curriculum of Chaos
Sword Coast Adventurers Guide
Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft
Volos Guide to Monsters
Xanathar's Guide to Everything
Dungeons of Drakkenheim
Curse of Strahd
At this point I am tired of writing so let's just assume I probably have it. But I am ultimately the arbiter on if something is allowed. If it seems crazy you may want to ask.

The Next Step
Who Are You Destined to Be?
Imagine being granted fantastic powers. Who would you become? A savior of the world or its conqueror? A champion of peace and justice, or a harbinger of fear and obedience? Would you strive to be the world’s greatest hero or its most infamous villain?
Throughout history, there have always been extraordinary individuals—those who are stronger, smarter, faster, and more driven. In recent decades, the number of people born above the baseline has increased. What was once attributed to better nutrition and reduced stress is now recognized as something more profound.
The Evolutions have become more extreme. People with obvious superpowers and physiological changes are emerging, and the pace of scientific advancement is accelerating. Some view this as the next step in human evolution, while others see it as a disease to be eradicated. Normal people live in fear of the potential of these “Evolved” individuals, wary of their burgeoning powers and the mad science that has erupted worldwide.
A leader has emerged, advocating for peace between the Evolved and the Normals. This woman has assembled a team of Evolved individuals to train and educate them, using her vast resources to protect Normals from malevolent Evolved and Mad Scientists who seek to dominate humanity.
And you are part of this team…
Hey everyone, thanks for reading this far! This will be my first time running a game on this site, and I’m excited to get started. If you have any questions or suggestions for improving this ad, please let me know. I’m still new to the system, so I’ll be learning along with you.
As you can tell from the blurb above, I’m interested in creating an X-Men-like superhero game using Destined, a super-powered supplement for the Mythras system. I’m aiming for a vibe similar to the early X-Men comics or the Mutant X TV show—lower power levels, high-stakes adventures, and super-powered battles.
You’ll create a character with superpowers (probably just one or two to start) and build a team to do some good in the world. I want the game to be somewhat sandbox-y, so you’ll let me know what you’re interested in, and we’ll pursue that. I’m thinking of teenagers or young adults with powers who will fight super crime and defend the world.
If you don’t have the book or don’t want to get it, I’m happy to walk you through everything, from character creation to play.
Here's a Preview Book for Destined: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/381979/destined-preview
Heres’s the rule book for Mythras Imperative which contains some rules for Destined and also how the game system works: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/185299/mythras-imperative
About the GM
Hello! I’m new to the site and relatively new to PbP GMing. I love superheroes, space opera, and all that nerdy stuff. I enjoy learning new systems, and my current obsession is the Mythras system and its spin-offs.
I’ll post 2 or 3 times a week.
Applications
Please submit a paragraph or three aboutyour character concept and their powers. Nothing too time-consuming yet. I'll go through any applications and concepts and make decisions on a team of players. If I like the first four or so, I may move forward with them to capture the momentum

Players can have two weapon skill no higher than DEX for things like knife, shotgun, rifles and pistol. It's not to hard to imagine a character background where these skills would have been learnt but due to Control Rating and Legality Class these items could not be carried easily by the character in the out-start of the campaign story line. Though those with a criminal background or similar exception may be armed.

A real-life zombie outbreak would leave the world’s population in tatters, with fewer than 300 survivors left just 100 days into the infection, according to the University of Leicester.
Assuming a zombie can find one person each day, with a 90 per cent chance of infecting victims with the zombie infection, the students from the University of Leicester Department of Physics and Astronomy suggest that by day one hundred there would be just 273 remaining human survivors, outnumbered a million-to-one by the undead.
The students presented their findings in a series of short articles for the Journal of Physics Special Topics, a peer-reviewed student journal run by the university’s Department of Physics and Astronomy. The student-run journal is designed to give students practical experience of writing, editing, publishing and reviewing scientific papers. The student team investigated the spread of a hypothetical zombie virus using the SIR model – an epidemiological model that describes the spread of a disease throughout a population. The model splits the population into three categories; those susceptible to the infection, those who are infected, and those who have either died or recovered. The SIR model then considers the rates at which infections spread and die off as individuals in the population come into contact with each other.
As part of the formula, the students looked at S (the susceptible population), Z (the zombie population) and D (the dead population), suggesting that the average life-cycle of a zombie would be S to Z to D. They also examined the time frame over which individuals in the population encounter one another. The initial study didn't factor in natural birth and death rates, since the hypothetical epidemic took place over 100 days, resulting in natural births and deaths being negligible compared to the impact of the zombie virus over a short time frame. Without the ability for humankind to fight back against the undead hordes, the students’ calculations suggest that if global populations were equally distributed in less than a year the human race might be wiped out. However, in a more hopeful follow-up study, the students investigated the SIR model applied to a zombie epidemic and introduced new parameters, such as the rate in which zombies might be killed and people having children within the nightmare scenario. This made human survival more feasible.
The team factored in how, over time, survivors may also be less likely to become infected after having experience of avoiding or fending off zombies. They found it would be possible for the world’s human population to survive the zombie epidemic under these conditions – and that eventually the zombie population would be wiped out and the human population would recover.
Currently we have 8 PC's which is a full party, any future Character request will be put as first reserves...
